Antique Vintage c1930s Maple 3" Butcher Block Table Chicago Salvage Metal Base
This old butcher block table from the 1930s was salvaged from a Chicago meat packer and is in great vintage condition. The top has been sanded down and coated several times with tung oil to bring back its great sheen. Tung oil is an organic oil that is safe for food. Dings. Gouges and a few splits on the top are a character adding bonus and are consistent with age and use. The metal base is sturdy and stout and I believe the legs adjust in height(I didn’t try, but it looks like they screw up or down in order to level the top. It measures 36" w x 24" w x 34 ¼”h top is 3” thick. There is a stamp on the underside of the top that is not readable, but I included a photo of it anyway. Metal Red White Design Antique Table Pull Out Slats Leaf Vintage 1940
This is an antique table from my grandmothers estate. It is metal with a wooden draw and wooden legs. The top has a playing card design. Really has that old fashion look. It is from the 1940's or 50's The leafs do not fold down they fold inside the table! Has some minor wear a small spot on top where the design is rubbed off and some rust is on that spot. Also wood has some wear and could use a cleaning and touch up on paint maybe or keep as is. Otherwise just normal wear here and there but works perfectly. Kept as my grandmother had it. The size is 3ft 4" across when extended it is 3ft 8" long Without extensions it is 3" Height is 3 ft 7" I don't know much about tables and antiques but I feel like this is great item to display or add to a collection! Antique Victorian Ornate Cast iron Metal Marble Stand Table. Beautiful curved legs and ornate lower and upper shelf. Upper section has a 8" x 8" square marble top with some scratches on it. Tables gold gilt finish looks to be original with a nice patina. Possible it has been repainted but would have been along time ago if not original finish, There's some rust on bottom and the finish does have scuffs and scratches. Needs dusted, we wiped off with soap and water but as seen it still has dust in the ornate ereas. Table Measures approx. 29" tall x 13" x 13" square on the top, legs bow out farther in the back, Back legs are approx 21 1/2" wide/ apart. Antique Metal Stacking Nesting Tables Esther von Kramer Handpainted Signed WOW!!
As pictured. Up for auction is this amazingly unique set of Metal Stacking/ Nesting Tables. There are four(4) metal tables in the set. Each standing approx 20 1/2" tall when assembled. The table tops are approx 13 3/4" in diameter. They drop down onto each other in a stacking manner with each tubular body having a slightly larger diameter than the predecesor. then the four table tops stack onto each other and then everything is secured by a handle/ screw. When apart, each table top is threaded so with a few turms, they screw onto each table body. as I said, very unique! Now. Making something unique into"one of a kind" each table is beautifully and florally handpainted by the late Esther von Kramer. A rural new York artist born in the 19th Century. I googled her bio and attached parts in the following excerpt: Esther von ... moreKramer was born in Buffalo. NY in 1893, but spent much of her adult life in Batavia, NY and was an original member of the Batavia Society of Artists. She died in 1981 at the age of 88 in East Aurora. NY. Esther von Kramer's work is comprised primarily of still lifes and a few landscapes, with work on canvas as well as household items such as serving trays, chairs and milk buckets. If you look closely at the pictures. You will notice she even swirled some dark green paint on the bases to blend in with the floral theme up top! The condition of the table set is very good considering it's age. it has some scratches, rust and some paint erosion, along with a a bit of residual adhesiveon one of the tops, from what looked to be a piece of tape. however nothing to significantly detract from the vintage beauty of this unique and gorgeous handpainted piece of Americana! The table structures are all excellent.nothing coming apart or loose. all secure! I took many decent pictures, including close-ups of each table top.
