A nice pair of heavy duty iron brackets. Each one weighs about 3.5 pounds. The wall side is about 11.25 inches long and 1 3/8 inch wide. The other leg is about 10.5 inches and 3/4 inch wide. The brackets measure 9 1/2" tall x 7 1/2 across the top. They have an ornate curl on the end where the shelf would rest. I would say a 6" deep shelf would be placed in the area. Each side of the shelf brackets have 4 holes for mounting to the wall and 4 holes to mount the wood shelf you provide. These were commonly used at the turn of the century and seen in Grocery Stores. It measures 9 1/2 on the outside corners and when I measured from one end to the other across it was 13 1/4. It has JM on the back with the numbers 208& 209.
