The legs with braces have been repositioned using the original screws, I imagine over the years the table became wobbley and the original screw holes stripped, therefore repositioned for renewed stability. Item: Up for auction is this fully restored Mission. Arts& Crafts Table or Plant Stand. The table measures 10.75 x10.75 and is 18.75 inches tall. The table is very structurally sound. It is constructed of solid quarter sawn oak in the characteristic Mission design. The terms restored and refinished are not meant to convey perfection. While the restoration process removes or minimizes imperfections. Subtle signs of its age and use remain. Overall, this table is in excellent condition and should provide many years of use and beauty. Pricing: I do not use reserve pricing. I will establish what I think is a fair starting price for each item. That way potential buyers can make a choice to pursue the item or not. This is an antique Stickley era Mission style Arts& Crafts quarter sawn solid oak coffee table dating to the early 1900's. It appears to have originally been a library table that was cut down to be a coffee table. It measures 42-3/4" wide. 25-1/2" deep and stands 18" tall. It has bronze pulls on the drawer and the drawer is dovetailed. There are scratches and wear consistent with age and gentle use, and some minor blemishes. There are oak buttons that cover connection points and 10 are missing. I have not had a chance to replace them, but do have a bag of new oak buttons that will be included with the table. This listing is for a very nice. Unique, antique carved gilt wood accent table. This lovely table is reflective of the Arts Crafts Mission styling with some Spanish influences. This is an old table, not machine manufactured. It is very nicely done, and very beautifully carved with a modified, fleur de lis pattern which is repeated. The legs are substantial and feature nicely curved lines. The top is 8 sided with a center that is slightly raised but also 8 sided. No marks or signatures. Very sturdy and no wobbles. Primitive Antique Mission Style wood plant stand/small table. Another genuine early furniture piece that belonged to my Grandfather. Possibly from the 1920's( Table stands 13-1/2" tall x 11-1/2" wide across the top. Made of dark stained. 3/4" thick wood, not sure what type. Maybe maple. F our supporting legs are nicely rounded and tapered at the top. Wonderful primitive and rustic look with wear to many of the edges and residual white paint along one leg with some small splatters elsewhere. For your consideration we are offering this antique Mission tiger oak coffee table circa early 1900s. Overall this piece measures in at an approximate 18"H x 42"D. This piece is solid oak not veneered. Condition is as shown/ follows: I'm selling the table in need of full refinish/ restoration. The finish is badly worn as shown and should be redone. The structure of the table quite good: There is some very tight smooth board separation to the top and random bruises, scratches, bangs, chips etc.The mortise through detail is cosmetic not structural, one of the through tenons is chipped up. None of the issues would present much of a problem to a furniture refinisher. The legs are semi spade shaped at the bottom and do have inset ball casters. Viewing the table-top from underneath, it appears that the original solid oak top is still existing beneath the Formica sheath. There is a piece of wood missing from one corner of the apron(see photo) The base finish needs restoration. However, this is a very solid, sturdy conference table. The double-pedestal base features 4 sided. Graduated columnar legs attached to an H-stretcher. The oak composing the legs and the stretcher appears to be quarter-sawn. Antique L&J.G. Stickley Arts and Crafts Table, No Reserve!!!!!
The table is 20 in. tall and is 18in. wide. The base/ legs is in excellent original condition. Great original patina. The top has a few issues. The top is made up of 3 boards and two glued up seems. One seem is original and untouched and just beginning to open up a bit. Structurally very sound. Its good. The other seem looks to have been worked on. Its tight and also very sound. The top also has 1in. area thats about 1/8in. deep that looks to me to have been sanded/ worked smooth. One or two screws missing and a few are new. This ca. 1910 poker art jardinière stand measures 17” tall with 12 ¼” square base and 14” square top. All of the surfaces are liberally decorated with poker art images of rearing phoenix birds or griffins set against textured ground in the manner of Flemish art. Tobey Stickley Oak Arts and Crafts Library or Trestle Table
Here is a wonderful Arts and Crafts oak trestle or library table fresh from a Nebraska estate. I believe it was made by Tobey Furniture but it is not shown in the Tobey book. It has a similar cutout on the ends as some others in the Tobey book. The top is a full one inch thick and has clip corners. The table is 42 inches by 25 1/2 inches and is 29 1/4 inches tall. It has a bottom shelf with a cutout at each end. The splayed ends give this a wonderful look. The bottom shelf has through tenon with pegs. It is in excellent condition. No stains and just some minor scratches which I have tried to show in the photos. There are some touched up scratches on one side shown in photos 3 and 4. The bottom of the feet are slightly dry and could be touched up with finish but there is no rot or deterioration of the wood. Lovely little four drawer table in quarter sawn oak in the Arts and Crafts/mission style. I believe it may have been a vanity. All knobs are present and the drawers work as expected. Measurements are approx. 35" x 18" x 32" tall. The drawers are dovetailed. Also I found the vanity portion. Which I thought I had and could not locate! Unique Tiger Maple Top Arts & Crafts Trestle Table
This table is a knockout. The top is solid tiger maple-with a few imperfections. As one might expect from an old piece. It could be refinished to get rid of the ring stain and the other stain opposite, but the patina is so gorgeous I couldn't bring myself to do it. This is probably an interpretation of a Craftsman table, beautifully executed. Table is sturdy and generous, would make a great work space or a kitchen table as well. 30 1/2" high x 3 ft. wide x 28" deep. For delivery. I recommend either TSC Moving or Uship. Original Antique Charles Limbert Arts & Crafts Mission Library Table Desk 1910
Fabulous Charles Limbert Quartersawn Oak Library Table. I believe the finish is original as well as the hardware(obviously screws& washers have been replaced) This is not a claim I make lightly. Please see pics! Burned Limbert Arts& Crafts stamp on inside of drawer on the left. Measures 42” wide x 30” deep x 29 1/2” height. Condition: Pretty amazing. No cracks anywhere. It's a very solid. Sturdy, handsome construction. Flaws: On the top of the desk there is a spot on the right that is darker(see pic#9) where it looks like someone probably sat an ink bottle then tried to remove a bit of ink. It looks like it's been there for a very long time. It's not an eyesore but needs to be pointed out. There is also a very small gouge or nick on the right side(see pic#12) On the left leg there is a strange"mystery" spot(flat) ... morewith a tiny spot of paint next to it(see pic#10) Lastly. On the back edge of the top you see a little paint where someone put it up against a wall when there was wet paint(see pic#11) The inside drawer does have ink stains. If you'd like a pic I can certainly send it. Pic#6 is a close-up of the finish on the drawer(outside) to help uphold my claims of it being the original finish. I'm really just trying to point out anything I see as a flaw no matter how small. I've made no attempt to oil it or clean it with any chemicals. It's got a very warm rich look to it& my pictures really don't do it justice. I've got it set up for local pick up. I'm happy to assist the buyer in trying to arrange shipping.
