antique cast iron wall mounted lamp bracket. the bracket is in good overall condition. it measures8 3/4 inches long not including the fixed screw for mounting the bracket. these were very widely used back in the day for hanging kerosene lamps or swag style lighting. i would estimate it as late 1800's or early 1900's/ i will always combine shipping on multiple purchases whenever it is reasonable to do so. be sure to check out our ebay store for this and many unique and unusual antiques and collectibles of a wide variety!

Today I will be listing 2 very unique victorian era hooks. Both will have BIN's and if you win both you can save BIG on combined shipping! So up first is this antique victorian era cast iron chandelier/ceiling hook with matching rosette/bracket/plate. The entire hook measures about 5 3/8" long and the hook section itself is about 2 9/16" long. The rosette/plate is about 2 7/16" in diameter at the diagnol. Both parts are in excellent shape with some typical light wear and oxidation. As pictured. I see no damage so this hook is ready to mount. There is a sligth bend in the screw section that you can sort of see in the last picture but this will have no functional or structural effect. Also, that is NOT rust you see around the center hole in the rosette. It is just reflection of light from a shiny finish. Buyer pays shipping ... morefee of $4.95. Paypal accepted. Vintage STIMPSON Scale Bracket Heavy Cast Iron Meat Hook Wall Mount Antique Rare
The pictures speak for themselves. I admit that I know little about this old STIMSON Wall Mount Scale Bracket. And that's after having it for several years. Moving it& tripping over it a half a dozen times. In my internet research I could only find 1 more like it. It was complete, dated 1928& was called a Meat Hook Scale. I had intentions too make a tool rack for my log furniture tools but that is probably not going to happen. I cannot say the two pieces go together but they were together when I bought them. The total length of the steel pipe is 29 1/2" and the cast iron wall mount is 21" and weights 31 lbs 12 oz. The scale bar? is brass& 28 1/4" long. It weights 7 lbs 9 oz. They weight 40 lbs total. Ornate Antique Cast Iron 6.75" Swivel Wheel & Bracket, old vintage Cart
This is an antique cast iron wheel and swivel bracket from an old factory cart. The wheel spins and swivels without problems. The wheel is 6 3/4 inches in diameter with a 1 1/2 inch tread. It is marked JTT 3. The overall length of the whole assembly is about 15 inches. The bracket is about 5 1/4 inches long. This old wheel has a 1/2 inch long chip in the edge of the wheel that extends about 1/4 inch into the tread. Since the tread is 1 1/2 inches thick the chip should not be a problem that prevents its display or use. There is some smaller and shallower edge roughness that we mention just to be complete. But the overall look is very cool. This piece will make your project look great. It would also be nice as part of a wall display of factory parts and wheels. Antique Vtg. 50" Wrought Iron Sign Hanging Bracket Well Made back in 1940's-50's
Tonight5's Auction is for an Antique Vintage Wrought Iron 50 inch Sign Hanging Bracket that was made I believe by a welder either for himself or for somebody that had hired him to make one for them. I had a wooden store sign made back around 1974 and needed a bracket for it and got the bracket from the sign maker who happened to have this one. For some reason. I don't remember, I ended up using some other bracket and I kept this one figuring that someday I would find a use for it, but it never happened. I've always kept it under cover and I came across it the other day getting some wood out of my storage building which is attached to my shop. It's about 49 to 50 inches long and on the higher end which attaches to a building or whatever you're going to attach it to it's about 22 1\2 inches high. The 2 swivel bolts where ... morethe sign is attached are about 28 inches from center to center. The 28 inches doesn't restrict that the sign has to line up exactly on 28 inches, just letting you know this particular distance. The gray finish on it right now is metal primer. The 2 bolts where the original sign was attached had a red& white metal sign hanging from at one particular point in time, because when they took it off, they cut it off and there is a piece of thin metal on both bolts that has red& white on it, probably a nice Esso or Mobil sign etc. that would be worth quite a bit these days. The sign was well made being welded and bolted both at critical points and everything is still nice and tight as the day it was made. It most likely was made back in the 1940's- 50's for a gas sign when so many of the brands were expanding their stations. This hanging bracket hung outside my inlaw's florida room. It was used for different things. I have seen it used for wind chimes. Plants and holiday decorations. One side of the rooster didn't get painted completely on one side because it was up against a light and made it difficult to get a paint brush on it. It has been'antiqued' with a coat of off white paint(not by me) which is wearing off. The mounting bracket has one hole at each end. It measures 29" in length and 1 1/4" in width except for the slightly larger flared ends. pic 7) The'arm' is 27" in length and ends with a most attractive fleur de lis. The weight is 4 lbs. 1 oz. There are two 2 3/4" attachments on the arm for hanging whatever you need to hang! Overall this bracket is sturdy and functional. It is attractive without being overpowering.
