These cast iron adjustable table legs date late 1800s. They are embossed CHANDLER THE BOSTON. E2; DESIGN PAT.JUNE29.97.PAT. JUNE 9.1896.NOV.14'98. The legs measure each 12" across the bottom. 8 X 3 1/2" at the top; from 16 1/4" tall in the lowest to 23" in the highest position. Condition of these legs is very good. No breaks.

The base and top of the pedestal are an oval shape that measures 9" at the widest and 7 and 1/2" at the narrowest on the top and bottom. Fantastic find from garment factory. Small mobile storage. Basically an 18" cube on wheels. Great industrial green color, heavy"waxed" fiberboard. Incredibly strong and light. Metal edging around open top perimeter. Rivets down side.Signed by maker as shown in pic. This is vintage so definitely shows signs of use. Rolls well! Clean- no grease or industrial residues. Antique Machine Age Industrial Cast Iron Drafting Coffee Table Base Steampunk
Here we have a great antique cast iron base with hand cranks on each side that turn a gear. The gear comes out a little bit above to top of the table base I imagine it would make for a cool adjustable drafting style coffee table. As you can see from the photos these legs are a bit top heavy. I put a small piece of cardboard to hold the two legs together and they stood up fine no problem so I don't think there would be any issue once a top is crafted for them. The bottom of the legs can also be mounted so this could either be mounted to the floor or even on top of a taller table to craft or even the wall. These legs stand about 18 inches tall not counting the gears and cranks.

The base is a cast iron pedestal from a metal working lathe from 1942. The door on the front opens. The original layers of paint are still there with a different shade showing thru in various spot from many years of use. The cast iron has been cleaned and lightly waxed to bring out its full character. The top is from a retired Patternmakers shop and was turned on a large wood lathe many years ago. It was a blank intended to be shaped into a pattern to make a mold to be poured in metal but was never used. It is built up from many layers of dense plywood with a top layer of fir in a pie wedge design for stability. Holes have been plugged. Tough to find late 1930's Howell table/ desk designed by Wolfgang Hoffmann. Top measures 36" x 24" and the height is 29" Original metal plating. Screws, end caps and pained wood top. Could be easily modified into a console table with a different longer and more narrow top. Very similar to streamline modern steel furniture designed by Gilbert Rohde for Troy Sunshade, KEM Weber for Lloyd and the furniture sold by Royalchrome and Mckay. Incredible work of art.industrial desk. Work bench, table, machine age, reclaimed wood. Perfect as a sideboard. Kitchen island, desk, workbench, table I was given the chance to salvage anything I wanted from a small barn that was going to be demolished. The barn was right here in my home town of Fox River Grove. Illinois. This workbench was one of many treasures I acquired. It was in rough condition when I rescued it. I knew I could restore it to full glory. I think it came out spectacular, however you will be the judge, perhaps it will speak to you like it does to me! This is built like a battleship. The industrial grade frame is fantastic, it reminds me of a steel bridge.with the large rivets and big bolts&nuts.A few of the nuts are missing below the top, it has no effect on strength.there are so many other bolts&nuts holding the ... moretop in place, as I said built like a battleship! The top is 3 1/4 inches thick. Made of a total of 3 layers of wood. Uner the oak strip top are 2 thick layers of planks, the front and side edges are covered in pine. I love the incredible patina of all of the wood including stains. Nail& screw holes, oak pegs, pinholes, orange-ish stain area on left side of top, there is even an area on the front left trim where the wood was charred from being burned(it is sealed with varnish and looks great)no doubt a torch was used to repair/weld something.The top has some waviness/wear as you would expect with age, it just adds to the wonderful character. The patina is second to none.patina like this can only be created by years& years of use and hundreds of projects being done on this bench I restored the entire bench by hand. I added some of the solid oak pegs in the top to seal old holes. The entire bench has been hand sealed with varnish. Everything including the underside of the top, the entire metal frame has been sealed, making it easy to wipe clean. the top was sealed with many, many coats of hand rubbed varnish. Vintage TOLEDO UHL Machine Age Industrial Typewriter, Task, Table,t w/Wood Top
Here is a nice Old Vintage UHL TOLEDO Table! Industrial heavy duty construction with wood top! Measures approx 22 1/2"L x 19 1/2"W X 26"H and very heavy! Has a working lever underneath which raises the wheels so the tables weight is on the steel ball feet for stability. When you wish to move the reverse happens by moving the lever. Is in very good condition with no major issues. Scratches. Some rust here and there, mostly around the steel ball feet, but nothing out of the ordinary. Wood surface has some discoloration(see pic) like an outline where something may have rested on it for a long time. There are a couple of machined holes on wood surace as well that may have been to adhere a shelf or something to at one time. Real good little table that can be used in a myriad of ways! Recent find from an old warehouse is this amazing pair of iron table legs. Unfortunately the pictures do not do them justice. They say Excelsior Machine Works Chicago on the front and have a large eagle. They are made out of Iron. They are 30 inches tall 32 inches wide at the top 27 inches wide at the bottom and 2 inches thick. They have a great worn patina to them and with a coat of sealer they would be just spectacular. They can hold up any size wood top you would need. They weight about 120 lbs each so they are very sturdy. It does have machine holes from the original mountings. I am unsure of what they held but I believe is was a printing press. From what I could learn about Excelsior Machine Works was that it made printing presses. These are from the late 1800's to the very early 1900's. Your never gonna find anything like these ... moreand the large eagles are just amazing on these. I have done some checking on the shipping of these and I can have two wood crates made and ship them via FedEx ground. It will be about 325.00 to get the 2 crates made. 1930s Art Deco Wolfgang Hoffman Howell table No. 475 Machine age chromed steel
Beautiful Machine Age Art Deco table designed by Wolfgang Hoffman for Howell Furniture Company in the 1930s. Great condition considering the age of this wonderful piece of Americana- normal wear includes places where the chrome is worn and some slight defects in the top- see photos for best description- The table knocks down for easy shipping- basically 5 pieces of chrome and the top- again see photos- should help reduce shipping cost altho the package will be sizable- the dimensions of the top are 42 by 24 inches and the table stands 29 inches high- so please remember assembly will be required when the table arrives- basically there are 2 three inch bolts that hold on the cross member. 4 one and one half inch bolts that bolt the legs together and twenty screws that hold that top to the base(5 on each leg) all hardware is original- If you ... morelook at the picture of the bottom of the table top you can see the Howell logo- would like to draw your attention to the places where the base screws into the top- altho the screws were tight in the holes it appears they have some wear. Probably from the table being pushed and dragged around a bit during it's life- shouldn't present a problem but don't want the purchaser to overlook this fact- The catalog photos are from Catalog 22 which I believe is 1942- the catalog photo shows a trim piece around the top of the table- I believe this to be an earlier table one bulit before the addition of the trim- however I have no verification of that fact- this is table 475 in the catalog- I tried to my best ability to get a good photo of the table top as well as the base- the top is so shiny that the photo shows much reflection of the lights- there is however a scuff mark that is visible in the photo- looks to me this can be buffed out- however I didn't attempt to since I'm no furniture repair expert- I did however break down the table and clean it- just to see exactly what was dirt and what was damage- I think the photos show the condition of the table

The table base is in original condition with no breaks to the legs or decorative connecting piece. The stools swivel as they should and are in good working condition. The maple stool tops are original and will probably need to be reglued at the seams. The base has surface rust and it will be up to the buyer to refinish as they choose. The only other example I could find was on 1stdibs and it was sold. It was the identical form except with a drawer. The table measure 16"W x 32"L x 30"H. You're looking at a set of rare. Antique Standard Sewing Machine Co. table legs. These cast iron legs are in great condition and are perfect for creating a standard-height(30" table. From the photos you can see that this is a particularly elegant set of legs with a nice. Wide stance. As they currently sit, the legs are 28.5" in height but this can be decreased by approx 2" by loosing bolts on both ends of the leg(see pic#6) In pic#10 you can see a chip in the mount area. VINTAGE CAST IRON & MAPLE INDUSTRIAL- MACHINE AGE-STEAMPUNK TABLE
HELLO BIDDERS- You are bidding on an A RE-PURPOSED 1930'S DEMMING CAST IRON BASE WITH A MAPLE WORK BENCH TOP. This is a beautiful piece of industrial furniture that would make a great desk. Dining table or other table. The base is a Demming cast iron base from the 1930's. The base came from a factory near Chattanooga.TN that made uniforms for business and military. It was an original piece in the building I found it in. The beautiful Maple top I found in an industrial salvage plant in Dalton. GA. The top was from the late 1940's. I pressure washed and removed most of the old paint from the table top and sanded it down to a 180 grit. I then coated the top with three layers of poly sanding in between coats. The green 57 Chevy green paint looks incredible against the distressed Maple wood. The table top side was the bottom and the ... morenon-paint side was the working top side. You can use either side so both are pictured for you to choose. They both look incredible. The table top has scars and metal that I ground down flush with the Maple. I sandblasted the base and polished it down to bare metal and shot it with four coats of lacquer giving it an excellent seal. The wheels have also been polished out and can be used or easily removed. The table top measures 60" x 22" and is apx. 28" tall with the wheels on. A simple peg in the wheel hole will raise it an inch or two if needed. It is an excellent height for a desk or dining table. MACHINE AGE TABLE ROTATING TOP ANTIQUE FORD MODEL T WHEEL IRON & GLASS BALL FEET
We are pleased to offer this very unique. HIGHLY ENGINEERED, Steampunk side or accent table. The table has been fashioned by pulling several antique elements together to create both an interesting and functional table. The table top is a wooden spoke, antique(c1916) Ford Mode T wheel. The wheel is fitted with an antique, brass, Ford Model T hubcap which reads"Ford, Made in the USA" Again, this is the same hubcap used on Model T cars from 1913 to 1916. The inner rim of the wheel has been fitted with a wide strip of tooled leather. The leather tooling is of flowers surrounded by leaves. The top has been attached to what appears to be an antique piano bench base. The base is solid wood with four fluted and turned legs and a center column support. The legs are finished with gilded iron and glass ball and claw feet. The iron has a nicely ... moredetailed pattern. The hub of the wheel has been attached to the rotating(spinning) piano bench's center column so that the wheel table top spins/rotates as well. The top moves freely with no catching. A glass piece has been custom cut to fit the table top via a donut hole which has been cut in the center of the glass. The glass fits nicely around the hub section of the wheel(see photo 11) This is a very interesting piece that has been SUPERBLY constructed. It is heavy and sturdy with no structural issues. The wood and finish are in very good condition with only minor signs of age/use. There is a darkened section on one area of the tooled leather(see photo 9) The leather may have gotten wet at some point prior to it being placed inside the wheel. Because the top is rotating, it can easily be turned where it is not visible(if it bothers you) It does not distract from the table. The glass ball and claw feet are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. Overall, this is an exceptional table in exceptional condition. The table measures 20.5" tall to the wheel rim and 24" tall to the center hubcap section. The base is 18" in diameter at the feet section. T
