Pedestal, some feet) c. 1825 and significantly rebuilt in the 20th Century Item# 12001078208 This is a beautiful decorative work. Crafted using old parts to lend originality and age to the table as it was crafted for a second time during the 20th Century. It features a broad solid black and gray marble top, resting over a new mahogany veneered top with pine plywood secondary woods, attaching to the head of the base with screws from beneath. The pedestal itself appears to be of the period, probably c. 1825, a wonderful gesso decorated and gilt highlighted work of art that is wrapped in a bulbous leafed palmetto formation over a ring turned base. This tenons into the triangular Lion Footed mahogany ... moreveneered base. Most of the feet are rebuilt, though after one original foot to maintain the integrity of the design. While this is not a collector quality work. This is an affordable work with significant character and age throughout. An original Gueridon of this style would be prohibitively priced, making this the perfect selection of a decorator with a budget looking for the depth of an original without the cost. Measurements: 36" wide x 29 1/4" high Condition Report: 1. Severely distressed gilt with exposed and damaged gesso on pedestal. 2. I would say it has been later painted to look like a french dining table. But looks great. The measurements are 56 long and 42 wide. Antique Style Dining Table in The French or Italian Look.
This is a very nice marquetry top round dining table with 2 center leafs. I would say it was made in Italy circa 1950. It sits on french style legs with brass to the top pf the legs and also the feet. There is a skirt round the table and also to the leafs. It would seat 4 people round 6 with one leaf and 8 with the 2 leafs in. There are extra support with legs coming down once you have the leafs in. Measurements are 43 round and each leaf is 20 inches. So fully extended it would be 83 long and 43 wide.

This is a beautiful circa 1950's folding card table with scalloped edges in the French style. It has a leather insert and I believe it is made from maple. It measures 35.5" square and 29.5" high. Very beautiful. Mid Century reproduction of the antique William Kent, Georgian, or French Empire, Federal Eagle console or entry table. This amazing table features realistic features and exquisite detailing in a deep relief which replicates hand carving. The table consists of a large eagle with outstetched wings resting on a raised plinth. The eagle has deep patterning and realistic details all in a beautiful gilded finish. The fabulous marble top is black with beautiful white veins. It is mounted on a gorgeous carved frieze with carved, curved details and finished with an egg and dart pattern. The table is probably Italian made. The previous owners lived in Italy for many years and their children indicated that they had it shipped from Italy when they moved. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Petite accent table. The table is made of mahogany and dates to the early half of the 20th century. It features extremely ornate carvings and is in the French Rococo style. The table is a half round, demilune design. It has a very pronounced skirt with heavily carved flowers and leaves. The legs are also nicely carved with beautiful lines and curves. An ornate stretcher supports and connects the legs. The feet are in a claw design with the front, center foot being the only"whole" foot. The table has been(I don't know when) painted on the top as well as an accent to the flowers on the skirt. The paint is an off white to cream in color. It appears that the table top has an antiquing glaze as well. The table is quite beautiful. Measures 33 1/2" tall X 44 1/2" wide/long X 12" deep. White removable marble slab is 3/4" thick. This is an antique from probably before 1900 made in the Louis XVI style. It belonged to my great grandmother who lived to be 100 and died close to 20 years ago. This could be restored to the attractive decorative work it once was- already heavily rebuilt many decades ago using old parts to lend originality and age to the table as it was"reimagined" for a second time during the 20th Century, the table has a rough and attractive appeal that would be lively if you have the skill to regild/inpaint the gesso, repair the veneer dings/chips and strengthen the central pillar with some blocking. It features a broad solid black and gray marble top(chipped edges) Resting over a new mahogany veneered top with pine plywood secondary woods, ... moreattaching to the head of the base with screws from beneath. The pedestal itself appears to be of the period, probably c. 1825, a wonderful gesso decorated and gilt highlighted work of art that is wrapped in a bulbous leafed palmetto formation over a ring turned base. This tenons into the triangular Lion Footed mahogany veneered base. Most of the feet are rebuilt, though after one original foot to maintain the integrity of the design. This is an affordable piece for anyone who wants to bring the style of the French Empire into their home without paying high four figures for a more original example. Measurements: 36" wide x 29 1/4" high Condition Report: Severely distressed gilt with exposed and damaged gesso on pedestal. Numerous chips to marble top around the edge(all photographed in the slideshow) Composed of old parts. Stunning pair antique carved French style tables with inlaid top. They are oval shaped and have a carved back rail. Inlaid tops are in good condition- original painted bases with no damage to carvings. Some minor paint loss on dark part of top rim. Tables measure 27" tall plus 1-1/2" rim by 22" wide and 18-1/2" deep. These were treasured tables passed from grandmother to mother to daughter and were well cared for. Stands approximately 22 inches high and has a diameter of 18 inches. this was made between 1920's and 1940's. This is a very nice table measuring about 28" high by about 19" across and deep. I know my parents got it sometime in the 1950's but I am told this piece was made sometime between 1930-1940 in Grand Rapids. Michigan. It has a veneer top and the photos show the condition. FRENCH STYLE OAK EXTENDING DINING TABLE
VARY RARE.Unique French Style Oak extending table with one leaf insertion. The dividing rectangular top is on turned bulbous legs joined by a shaped X-form stretcher. The table is on removable castors. Height 30 inches. Depth 48 inches, Length 48 inches- Includes one insert 12 inches wide. It is difficult to be sure of the table's age. It is either 1900's that I have been told has been seriously cleaned back and given castors. Or it is a later 20th century reproduction of a late 19th century French type table. I am guessing it is the older 1900's piece that been seriously cleaned which has unfortunately reduced the aged look and charm of the table. This is just my guess and no guarantees are implied. The table could be a high quality reproduction.I don't know. I am told that an older table that has been cleaned and a later ... morereproduction equate to close to the same value because a cleaned older table will be reduced in value. All that being said the table looks fantastic.the legs are totally unique. PLEASE NOTE: There are three small hairline cracks in the top of the table that run from different locations on the edges into the table for approximately 12 inches and one small hairline crack that runs from an edge into the table for approximately 1 inch.
