Top 10 1/2" x 10" Bottom 10 1/2" x 10 1/2" Each drawer has 2 brass handles. Bottom of front legs have brass hardware on feet Dimensions: Depth-13 1/2" from wall to front drawer) Width in the front 16" Width in the back 20" Height-27" Condition: This is an antique that has flaws and some scratches. Minor blemishes.Small dings and scratches can be seen throughout the table. French Empire Style Antique Classical Gilt Marble Top Gueridon Round Hall Table

Pedestal, some feet) c. 1825 and significantly rebuilt in the 20th Century Item# 12001078208 This is a beautiful decorative work. Crafted using old parts to lend originality and age to the table as it was crafted for a second time during the 20th Century. It features a broad solid black and gray marble top, resting over a new mahogany veneered top with pine plywood secondary woods, attaching to the head of the base with screws from beneath. The pedestal itself appears to be of the period, probably c. 1825, a wonderful gesso decorated and gilt highlighted work of art that is wrapped in a bulbous leafed palmetto formation over a ring turned base. This tenons into the triangular Lion Footed mahogany ... moreveneered base. Most of the feet are rebuilt, though after one original foot to maintain the integrity of the design. While this is not a collector quality work. This is an affordable work with significant character and age throughout. An original Gueridon of this style would be prohibitively priced, making this the perfect selection of a decorator with a budget looking for the depth of an original without the cost. Measurements: 36" wide x 29 1/4" high Condition Report: 1. Severely distressed gilt with exposed and damaged gesso on pedestal. 2. Numerous chips to marble top around the edge(all photographed in the slideshow) 3. Composed of old parts. Antique end table. Occasional table from early 1900's or before. Was in my family since before 1920's that I can tell. It stands about 21 inches tall with a 13 1/2 square top. Underneath there are brackets for support and an old crayon mark from the maker that looks like the number 125. I am not sure of the style. Perhaps Eams or Crafstman style?Has normal scuffs and scratches from wear and age. This is an old table, not machine manufactured. It is very nicely done, and very beautifully carved with a modified, fleur de lis pattern which is repeated. The legs are substantial and feature nicely curved lines. The top is 8 sided with a center that is slightly raised but also 8 sided. No marks or signatures. Very sturdy and no wobbles. Antique Duncan Phyfe Style Round Side Table Tripod Pedestal, Brass Claw Cap Feet
A lovely round Federal style table with a pie-crust top(scalloped on the inner and outer edge of the table top) Mahogany or Rosewood is in wonderful condition. Not sure which wood it is made from. But based on the weight I believe it is mahogany. If it were rosewood it would be even heavier. This one was part of the estate sale from a family that was cleaning out their 3rd generation 103 year old farmhouse. No idea who the actual maker is; is this a Duncan Phyfe original? I don't know; I understand that only a very few original Phyfe pieces(out of the many made) were actually marked. If anyone looking can give me more clues as to whether this piece IS an original Phyfe please do so and I will re-list with an appropriately higher price: Just kidding. Even if it wasn't made by Mr. Phyfe it is still a very old and beautiful solid wood ... moretable. If you can even find a table made from all solid real wood in the stores nowadays you will definitely be looking at a few hundred dollars, minimum. Look closely at the pictures. And note the metal pieces on the underside(pictures#6& 7) that were used in attaching the tripod legs to the spindle. Also take a peek at the screw heads on the underside of the table top(picture#5) this is a pretty good indicator of the age on this piece. The top can be removed from the base by unscrewing in a counterclockwise direction. The base is a tripod(three legs) The foot of each leg has a vintage brass claw cap. Sets of 3 of the new(not vintage) brass claw caps(without legs or a table! were selling on Ebay by another seller for $39.00. At some point in more recent history, someone placed metal taps on the bottom of each foot; it is obvious that these were a much later addition. take a look at picture#8! This is a beautiful. Duncan Phyfe style antique drop-leaf dining table and 4 chairs set
For consideration is a solid mahogany antique drop-leaf dining room set in the Duncan Phyfe style. Has 2 pedestals and four chairs. The table has the original Watertown slide mechanism. And was made by Extensole out of Sparta, Michigan. Entirely original, including the brass claw cap feet on pedestals. There are two leaves for this table, making it a 77 inch by 40 inch at its largest(w/the leaves) and 24 x 40 when the leaves are out and sides are dropped. 53 inches with just the 2 sides up. I have easily had 8 place settings when the leaves are in. The four chairs are also solid mahogany. And the pads have a red and green herringbone fabric on them, but they could be popped out and updated with whatever fabric is more appealing to you. The table and chairs do have expected wear on them, but they are truly in good shape. This set was my grandparents' ... morewho purchased it in the late 1920's or early 30's. Possibly from the 1920's( Table stands 13-1/2" tall x 11-1/2" wide across the top. Made of dark stained. 3/4" thick wood, not sure what type. Maybe maple. F our supporting legs are nicely rounded and tapered at the top. The stamp on the bottom reads: Made in France" It is not antique I believe but has good age perhaps fifty years or more. The table is made of wood. Metal and marble. The wood has a dark walnut finish with an antique gold accent on the stem. The marble top has a salmon and brown finish. Accent table beautiful inlays Moorish-Moroccan style antique 19th Century
Lovely wood table from my mother's estate. With beautiful inlay work including mahogany, boxwood and mother-of-pearl inlays on top and sides. This was gifted to her when we moved from the UK in the late 1960s. My mom believed it to be of French origins. Louis XVI, however while doing research online I have found nearly identical pieces identified as 19th Century Moroccan or Moorish influence design, produced in Great Britain and possibly France when the Moor school of design was in vogue. The table is an ideal size for accent use and is very"condo-friendly" in its dimensions: 18.5 inches high by 11.5 inches top diameter. Interesting history: this was given to my mom by a Mrs. Walters. A neighbour and my sometimes babysitter, who was the widow of a one-time high-end hotelier in London. The Tramp may well have set his teacup, or other more interesting drink, on this very table. Their hotel was damaged during bombing in the Blitz and was subsequently torn down. This table was rescued along with other personal belongings from their private apartment in the hotel. Sorry I don't recall the name of the hotel. Condition: Displays very nicely. Has some bruises that I will describe(and have done my best to capture in the photos) This was used in our family home, so there are minor mars in a couple of spots along the edge of the top and one or two light dings in the wood. The finish has darkened in one corner. There are white lines on all the legs, I have tried to rub them out with no success. Don't know the exact history of this table. We were told it was originally in a men's store in England. It was in our small gift shop for 12 or 13 years. Magnificent oak Elizabethan style with bulbous legs that are beautifully carved. Has a whole shelf under the table as you can see. The apron of the table is beautifully carved as well. The table measures 8 feet long. 4 feet across and is 30 1/2" tall. There are 6 oak planks on the top of the table and the bottom portion has 4 oak planks. I'm told it is a refectory style table. Antique Imperial Style Mahogany Tea Cart 1930s
Up for bid is an Antique Imperial Style Mahogany Tea Cart from the 1930s. It is in good condition for it's age but does show signs of surface wear and use which can bee seen in pictures. The only other condition issue is that one of the large wheels is loose and a little unstable due to the spokes not being tight enough. The cart still rolls fine but getting that repaired would be a good idea. It has the Imperial Logo in the drawer. Without the folding leaves up it measures 28" long. 18" wide, and 28" tall. With the leaves up it measures 39" wide. It has a handle for pushing that folds down, a glass shelf insert that moves in and out, and a bottom wooden shelf. The wood is carved and held together nicely. One of the smaller wheels does detach when lifted up but could be glued if desired. This is a very nice marquetry top round dining table with 2 center leafs. I would say it was made in Italy circa 1950. It sits on french style legs with brass to the top pf the legs and also the feet. There is a skirt round the table and also to the leafs. It would seat 4 people round 6 with one leaf and 8 with the 2 leafs in. There are extra support with legs coming down once you have the leafs in. Measurements are 43 round and each leaf is 20 inches. So fully extended it would be 83 long and 43 wide.
