Antique 1940's-50's American bank shuffleboard table
Up for auction is my father's 1940's era 12' American Standard bank shuffleboard table. It was given to him in the 80's and has been well- kept in the basement of their house ever since. He passed away a year ago. And my mother is wanting to clean house and this table takes up a lot of room! This is a great restoration/conversation piece! A local woodworker has seen it and was drooling over the chance to refinish it. The table has seen its share of play, but is in really good shape still. There are a few small missing trim pieces, but can easily be found or made. The top is made of real butcher block, not the way cheap modern tables are made of. Part of the butcher top has split a little on one end, but can be repaired. It needs some refinishing yes, but for someone not all that serious about playing, it can be played on as-is. ... moreI played a little just after taking pics. I have researched for over a year on this table, and have found very little, and no examples. You would be hard-pressed to find another like it! PAIR ANTIQUE 1940 DECO FRENCH MAHOGANY SHABBY NIGHTSTANDS TABLES DUNCAN PHYFE
We are pleased to offer this exceptional pair of antique nightstands or side tables. This pair dates to around 1940. They are made of mahogany and have been painted white and distressed. The pair are elegant and sleek with a low profile. They feature a two tier design with open backs. They are French styled. Art Deco era, and have elongated lower sections with curved fronts. There have decorative square, raised wood pieces on the skirt of the lower tier. These have been left in the original finish to contrast with the paint. The legs are lovely in Duncan Phyfe style. The center leg column has also been left in the original finish. The table has ornate brass touches as well. There are lion face"door knocker" style pulls on each side between the two tiers. Metal Red White Design Antique Table Pull Out Slats Leaf Vintage 1940
This is an antique table from my grandmothers estate. It is metal with a wooden draw and wooden legs. The top has a playing card design. Really has that old fashion look. It is from the 1940's or 50's The leafs do not fold down they fold inside the table! Has some minor wear a small spot on top where the design is rubbed off and some rust is on that spot. Also wood has some wear and could use a cleaning and touch up on paint maybe or keep as is. Otherwise just normal wear here and there but works perfectly. Kept as my grandmother had it. The size is 3ft 4" across when extended it is 3ft 8" long Without extensions it is 3" Height is 3 ft 7" I don't know much about tables and antiques but I feel like this is great item to display or add to a collection! Vintage Antique Gladding McBean Hermosa Tile Table c.1940's Indoor or Outdoor
An indoor or outdoor tile and steel table that is probably one of a kind. The tile is Gladding McBean Hermosa tile. All tiles are intact and there's no missing. Loose, or chipped pieces. The center tile lifts out for an umbrella. The steel base and legs are rust free and the paint has been removed showing the raw steel coloring. This table is very solid and the 4 legs hold it in place without any wobble. Because of the tile, this table is probably from the mid-late 1940's. The diameter is 43.5" and the height is 28.5"
