The set is extremely sound ... moreand sturdy with no wobbling. Rowe Manufacturing was(and still is) an upscale furniture manufacturer. The frame is constructed of solid wood and the springs are all in tack with no sagging. This set has been in one home with one owner since it was made in the 1950's. That home was a non-smoking and no-pet home. The fabric appears to be a very thick, heavy nylon blend. There are no stains! There is visible wear only on the cording edge of the chair arms and minor wear on the cording edge of the sofa. Please see pictures as they are part of this description. The dimensions of the sofa are: 95 1/2" long X 34" deep X 28" high. The chair measures 43" wide X 34" deep X 28" high. This set is an iconic 1950's MAD MEN sofa set. Perfect for the Mid Century home.
