So many antique hand crafted beads go without the recognition they deserve. The beads that make up this Art Deco Era necklace are amazing. The longer beads have 5 sides each and are internally enameled in blue. Yellow and red. Between each segment there is a round faceted bead and 2 little blue spacer beads. This was restrung and there are 2 replacement beads near the clasp. Another thing to mention is the clasp is not perfectly centered. Antique Beaded Purse Czech Glass Seed Beads Flapper Art Deco
Beautiful little purse. Measuring approx. 6.5 x 4" it is made in Czechoslovokia, per its original hand woven tag. The purse is lined and has a small pocket on one interior side wall. It is completely beaded on both sides with glass beads. One side features a Deco design and leaves, the other side features a similar deco design with two branches. It has a strap made of faux pearls and smokey colored glass beads. I do not know if the strap is original or added later. It is a lovely piece.

I have found no chips or cracks. There are light scratches on the shade that are all near the holes for hanging. I am not able to see them when I look at the shade from below in the light. I have dusted the shade off, there are some small paint spatters, primarily on the border. This measures approximately 11.25" in diameter and is about 3.25" deep. Vintage Green& Gold Foil Venetian Art Glass Beaded Necklace This necklace is part of a family estate I am selling this month. The owners of the estate were widely traveled and all of the jewelery is between 50 and 90 years old. Offered is this vintage Venetian necklace with rich green glass and lots of gold foil inside the beads. Made In Italy! The necklace is 15 1/2" long with a screw barrel clasp. Two of the beads near the clasp are 11mm and the rest are 15mm beads.The beads are set with small glass spacer beads and gold tone filigree caps. This vintage Fostoria clear glass vase has beautiful patterns which look stretched on the"neck" Sort of fish scale shaped with beading in between toward the bottom, nice scalloped top edges. And a flower or star type pattern on the bottom. Some mistake this for Fostoria's heirloom pattern. But it is actually the Frisco pattern which was produced by Fostoria Glass Co. from 1954 to 1965. It measures 12" at its tallest point. By 3 1/4" across the top opening, by approximately 3 1/4” across its base. It is in in very good condition, and has no chips, cracks, or damage. Just a few small light surface scratches which are barely worth mentioning in my opinion. Bright spots are only light reflections. Beautiful piece for use or a collection! It was sewn onto a light blue silk material and there are only remnants left. All of the beads are sewn onto netting in different shapes and flowers. Some of the silk and lining is still attached to the back(see photo of back) This lovely trim measures approximately 44" long and is about 3" wide, just about all the way around. It is in good condition. The majority of the beads are still there(I actually don't see any missing but there probably are) and only a couple of small holes to the netting. This uniquely patterned bag is completely beaded. It has black. Gold, orange purple and yellow beads. The handle could be bakelite or celluloid. The closure works perfectly and the bag is in good working order although beads do fall from the strap easily. I am keeping it in a plastic storage bag to catch any falling beads. The beads that are yellow, orange pink and purple seem to have an AB finish. They are very bright. The bag measures 8.25" from the closure to the bottom and is 6.75" wide at the widest part. This gorgeous flapper necklace is all hand beaded and is from around the 1920s The necklace is made from glass beads and everything but the centerpiece measures 30" long and 7/8" wide The center piece in the front individually is about 4 1/4" long and 2 1/4" wide The whole necklace weighs 56.3 grams and there is a small portion near the center piece that is missing the beaded white lining. This purse features a geometric motif showcasing petite faux pearls and glass beads along muslin, and is finished off with an embossed gold tone ormolu metal frame and dainty coordinated chain-link handle. Fully lined with coordinated satin and pocket along the inside. Measures ~5inX7in with an ~7in chain link handle, and is finished all around. Opens and closes smoothly. In overall good condition considering age with age-expected wear, soilage, and superficial scratches, a warm rich yellowing of the body with patination of the handle, and wear to the closure. The beaded arrangement appears intact with a rare missing bead/pearl. The inside lining is intact with soilage which may be appreciated in the photos. Please enlarge photos for details.
