Bergere was in business from 1947 to the mid 1960's. They produced beautiful costume jewelry with fine workmanship. Quality materials, and lovely designs. This is an AMAZING vintage Delill beaded evening bag! It is covered in tiny white beads and also has some aurora borealis rhinestones in the center of the flower designs. The snap clasp is a crown with a rhinestone in the center. It is 8" across. 5" tall and has a 5 1/2" strap drop. The inside is ivory satin and has a pocket with a MIRROR and the Delill tag attached. There are a couple of barely visible small dark spots that I am showing a closeup of in the last picture. This bag comes in the original box and I don't think it has ever been used. I only made ONE like this Beautiful True RED color! I have been making these for over 20 years! It is made with VINTAGE glass Beads. The 17 larger ones and small ones around it are swarovski aurora borealis AB beads) It is has more sparkle in person! It has a small gold clasp. So it can be wrapped around as a choker( it can be wrapped around 9 times if your wrist is a bit small. Otherwise 8 and worn as a bracelet) It is VERY long at approx. 64" This would be perfect for a 1920's Party with a FLAPPER Dress or a Renaissance fair. But it is just pretty for any night out too! I only made ONE like this Beautiful PURPLE AB color! This would be GREAT with the 1940's Long Purple Velvet Dress( shown in 3rd to last picture) and skirt I have listed separately! I have been making these for over 20 years! The color is closer to the darker pictures. But it does change in different lighting. It is made with VINTAGE small Beads and new faceted glass AB beads. It is has more sparkle in person! It has a sterling silver chain( adjustable) and hook. It is long at approx. 16.5" on the inside shorter strand. The 3 strand necklace will fit up to a 17" neck. The largest beads are 11mm and they graduate in size down to 6mm with double cone shaped bead spacers. The closure is hook and chain. The silvertone end pieces have crystal rhinestones set in them. One side is missing 3 rhinestones. There are teensy tiny nicks in some of the beads when I look at them through a loupe. The necklace is in beautiful shape for its age. The strands feel a bit tight. I'm not sure if they tighten with age or if ... morethe piece has been restrung. It doen't look restrung but I'm not sure. The beaded earrings are wired to the clip backing and measure approx. 1" across. The clips work well. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
