Made up of real sponge coral, hematite and other brown coloured beads/stones,some oblong, and comes with matching dangle earrings with leverback fittings. This was handmade for me around 5 years ago from a lady that makes her own gemstone jewellery. I specifically asked for leverback fittings for the earrings, as they hang nicely. The leverback clasps and lobster clasp on necklace are gold plated. Th large round coral pendant measures 1 3/8" in diameter. The smaller beads on necklace measure 3/8" across, the larger beads on necklace measure 1/2" across. With the necklace laid straight with both sides together the necklace measures 12" from end(not including clasp) to bottom of large pendant(including pendant)so 24" ... moreThis bottom of pendant sits just above my cleavage on me, when worn at its longest with extender. What I really love about this piece is the gorgeous high-end coral clasp, in"Etruscan Revival" style, with multiple fleur-de-lis prongs and a coral center. If I were wearing the necklace, I would wear the clasp in the front to display it prominently, but that's just me! Angel skin coral is one of the most challenging items to photograph-the photos do NOT do this necklace justice! This beads in this necklace are approximately 9.5 mm- I measured quite a few of them. And they are not graduated in size. The angel skin coral has lovely color variation between very light pink and the darker salmon color which shows up in almost every bead.
