Shade measures approx. 13 1/2" across the frame opening and extends approx. 7 1/2" from the ceiling. Remarkable origional condition. The brass rim at the top of the lamp is a little loose. Brockwitz EAPG Scarce Beaded Cow-Medallion Round Butter c.1921
Antique. EAPG style pressed glass, domed butter dish, the entire surface decorated with cows, flowers, scrolls, medallions and tiny beads. Similar in form to many 1880's EAPG(Early American Pressed Glass) butter dishes, but rare because so few animals are shown in old pressed glass. Cows on the base are lying down, and along with standing cows on the lid are framed by eight beaded medallions alternating with flowers and beaded scrolls and an ornate base flange. The dish was made by Brockwitz Glass Works. Ltd. Brockwitz, Germany, and is shown in their 1921 catalog. Germany/ Circa: 1915-1928(MR31213) Information: This is a lovely round serving bowl. The white ground has a beaded and green lustre band around the top edge. There are clusters of roses in soft pinks. Yellow, and peach with green leaves. It is marked. Size: 9 1/8"d X 2 1/2"h- approx. dimensions Quantity: 1- Bowl Condition: VERY GOOD- no chips. Crazing but there are 2 spider cracks in the center of the bowl. They are visible on back and front. There is light wear overall- 15% Fabulous piece to collect and display. Fenton Silvercrest Beaded Melon Vase 4 inch Mini Circa late 1940's into very early 1950's'Silvercrest' is the longest running glassware line that Fenton made. It started in the late 1930s and continued into 1999 in one shape or form. This little 4" vase. However, is one of the harder to find items in the Silvercrest line for a vase. This vase was made 4 different crimped tops, one like is shown, the Triangle Tri crimped top shape. It was also made in a JITP(Jack in the Pulpit) top, and a square shaped. Again, so there is no confusion, this one is the Round-top crimp shaped. Made in the 1940's or early 1950's, is my guess. My sample is about 4-1/4 inches tall and about 2-3/8 inches across. There are no chips-cracks or repairs but please keep in mind that is is not new and has been used. The faceted ones really sparkle& catch the light(they might be hand cut) the beads on their own are highly collectible& the quality is amazing compared to modern seed beads. This looks much better than in the photos. The beads are sewn forming loops which shimmer& move if attached to a garment, the backing is a chocolate brown open weave fabric which might be silk or cotton, the beads range from black, brown, clear dark red, bronze, dark purples, blue/greens. Condition- good vintage condition(I think this might be from the 1920's) there are as to be expected a few ... moremissing loops but they could be replaced perhaps from one end.
