For Auction is a wonderful Utility Box made by Tiffany Studios of New York. The Box is done in the"Pine Needle" desk set pattern and the item is a called a"Stamp Box" The patina on the metal is the most desirable Green/Brown with some Reddish highlights. The stained glass is the green/white opalescent Favrile glass. The Stamp B ox measures 4 1/ 16" wide. 2 3/ 8" deep and 1 1/2" tall. This Stamp Box displays an Acid Etched Pine Needle overlay Pattern on Green/White Opalescent Glass. This overlay is on all sides except the bottom. It is further accented with a Beaded Border on the top and sides. The box sits on top of 4 Bun Style Feet. This is the most desirable and Fanciest of the Tiffany Pine Needle Desk Set pieces to Acquire! The Patina is very rich in color as it shows the Verdi Green with Brown and some ... morehighlights of red. It still retains its original Insert to hold stamps. The Stamp Box is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks. Nicks, or chips to any of the Glass. The Stamp Box is signed on the bottom underside edge. It is signed with the"Tiffany Studios New York" impressed mark along one side and the pattern number"801" to the right of it. This is a an extremely nice Stamp Box in excellent condition. When these are found there is usually some kind of damage to the glass or it is missing its Bronze Insert to hold Stamps! This one has no damage and it still has its original insert. This Box is almost as good as the day it was made and it shows minimal signs of use. I believe the Pine Needle Pattern to have been one of the first of the Fancy Goods Product lines made at Tiffany Studios. Those of you who are looking for an excellent example of the Stamp Box in the Pine Needle Pattern with Green Glass. Green Patina and a Beaded Border will be delighted with their purchase. The Inkwell is considered to be in excellent Condition as there are no cracks. Nicks, chips or dings to any of the Glass or Frame. The Lid opens and closes with ease and still feels very sturdy. The Inkwell even has its original clear well insert with its original Bakelite Black Insert that fits inside the clear well. The clear inkwell has a few flea bites along its edge but nothing obtrusive. Tiffany did not make this piece as he bought it from The Davis Company of New York. The Patina is rich and strong and shows minor wear on the top lid when closed. The Inkwell is signed on the bottom with the"Tiffany Stvdio New York" impressed signature mark. The Clear Inkwell Insert is also signed on the bottom with the acid etched mark that reads"The Davis New York" There is also"Patd Mar 12 Oct 22 89" along the top and"Feb 14 93 Jun 7 98" along the bottom. This is a beautiful pressed glass dish. Unknown maker. The dish has a fan and beaded pattern; crescent/canoe shape. Green color and four ball feet to keep it stable. There is a small chip on the inside edge(picture number 4) Normal flaws such straw marks and air bubble can be seen. But no cracks or hairline. This is a beautiful Bright Green and clear glass vintage necklace. It was strung on torn and broken cloth string. And so I restrung it on metal wire, to make it sturdy. The clasp is the one that was on the original piece. The green beads are so pretty, shiny and transparent. The large bead measures approximately 12mm, and the smaller green beads measure approximately 7mm. They are all the same color bright green, and none damaged or chipped that I can see.
