This is a Pair of Vintage Native American Brass Ribbed Arm Bands with a beaded Rosettes and a ribbon decoration. The Rosettes are Blue. Cobalt Blue and White with a star pattern. The ribbon is red white and blue. The Arm Bands were made by a Native American Artist. The arm bands are 3" wide and are 10" around. The rosette is 2 1/2" across with the ribbon measuring 13" long. Penn Antique Restoration. ~ 6 available ~ Antique Chrome/Brass Interior Door Sets w/ Oval Beaded Knobs& Plates. Although there are 6 sets available. The list price is for 1 set only. If the quantity above falls below 6, then this indicates that 1 or more sets sold. Elegant. Antique, interior door locksets salvaged from Central Iowa. Each set consists of 2 brass knobs, 2 stamped brass escutcheons, 1 steel mortise lock with a brass faceplate and 1 working key, 1 brass strike plate for the door jamb, and 1 spindle with 2 setscrews to connect the knobs. The sets were made some time between 1900& 1920. All brass parts are solid brass. At some point(most likely during the middle of the previous century) All brass parts were chrome-plated. Surprisingly, most of the plating remained! The amount of plating varies from part to part(see"Group ... morephotos" to compare) The knobs have a circular form and the escutcheons have an oval form. Both knobs and escutcheons have beaded trim. In our opinion. The sets are pretty clean. The chrome may be a bit dull, but after some polishing, they'll shine like they did years ago! There are traces of paint here and there, but that too is easily removed(your fingernail will suffice) We're not sure if you prefer a cleaner look, or a dirtier, distressed look. We opted not to clean them to be able to sell the sets for less, but if you prefer your hardware bright and shiny, we could clean the sets for $25/set prior to shipping- email us after the auction if you're interested. There is one subtle dent around each keyhole. They are not easily spotted unless you are looking for flaws. One of the knobs has a small dent on it's side. But it too is not easy to spot, and it will be even tougher to see once installed. Otherwise, there are just the typical small nicks and light scratches that you would expect to find on 100 year old hardware, but no breaks, cracks, chips, or gouges. We opened. ~Scottish VICTORIAN FIRE SCREEN Beaded GRAY Family Coat of Arms Nautical Brass ~ This is an amazing antique victorian embroidered and beaded fire screen featuring the Scottish family crest/coat of Arms for the family name of Gray. The center has a nautical theme of a stuck anchor over which reads the word FAST. These screens were used to deflect the heat from the fireplace and to protect the people from flying embers and ash. Some hung from floor stands or like this one. Hung from an articulated/ swivel brass arm with mantel clamp. Excellent embroidery and beading work. Brass frame and clamp feature a Greek key design. Approx. measurements of the banner is 17 3/4" wide by 18 1/2" tall. The frame measure 22" wide at top of banner with the arm. Banner to clamp, measuring approx. 22" long. Wonderful antique condition with ... moresome age appropriate spotting and wear. There are some spots on front as shown that I have not tried to clean. There is also some spotting/discoloration to back as to be expected from facing a fire all those years. The top is slip stitched to the back and some of the stitches are loose. There is also fraying and wear to the green silk? back piece around the sewn edge. The piece is attached to the brass piece via small S like clips which some are missing. The brass frame. Arm and clamp are in excellent condition. Really a wonderful antique fire screen. ~Please note~ Most of my pictures are taken with a magnifying lens giving me clear. Close up photos. This tends to also magnify minor flaws on item which many times cannot be seen on actual item.
