The set is in good condition showing no plate loss or pitting and only one with scratching more than normal. The set has no monograms or dents and have been lightly polished. Each of the plates weighs 1/2 pound. They are not light weight with a total combined weight of 6 pounds before packing. They are substantial and not light weight plates. This is a set of 12 Alvin 6 inch diameter sterling silver plates. They are in very good condition. With some suface wear, and some have a few tiny dings. Otherwise, they are clean and clear, with no monograms. The undersides are marked Alvin Sterling E49, the pattern number. The rims are plain. Together their combined weight is approximately 2 pounds, or 32 ounces. These sterling plates have a contemporary style that will go well with any setting.

This is a set of twelve National Silver Co. silverplated(on copper) bread plates. Eight of them have the script National and 1025 on the back and four have the N.S.Co. mark. They have varying degrees of wear. Some very little, others have lots of scratching from cleaning, and one has a couple of dents. Overall though this is a decent useable set.

Pictures are of the 8 that were opened but never used. And one is sealed how is was originally sold, so did not take out the rest of the four plates that are in the brown paper.
