Sterling Silver Gorham Flatware Fork Monogrammed and Stamped Pat. 1895 Nice
You are bidding on one Sterling Silver Fork stamped Pat. 1895 with what looks like 3 hallmarks also stamped on the back. Fork weighs 40 grams approximately. We do not see a manufacturer indentified on the fork but we are told it is made by Gorham based upon the Hallmarks although we have not personally veified it. Fork also appears have a"B" monogram engraved but we have a hard time reading the old English cursive and it could be a different monogram. Fork has not been cleaned or polished but is in nice. Buckwheat Cake Server | Austrian 800 Silver | Monogrammed EW | ca. 1901
On the block is a round server- probably a buckwheat cake or waffle server. It is Austro-Hungarian 800 silver and is stamped BACHRUCH.A with an assay mark indicating import silver. The city letter is indistinct but could be an F for Lwow. The bowl is brightwork engraved with a design of scrolls. Shells, and leafy branches. The handle is rococo in appearance and sports the monogram E W(or W E) Weighs 3.761 troy ounces and measures a little over 9.5 inches long and slightly shy of 3 inches across the bowl.

Offered is a nice little vintage monogrammed pill box.The inside of the lip is marked STERLING on one side and 2190 on the other. The inside of the box is a gold color as seen in the photos. The lid stays securely closed. No button but it fits snugly around the lip of the bottom piece. There appears to be a VI carved into the underside of the lid. There are some nicks and dents on the bottom and some tarnishing and scuffing but overall it i s in good vintage condition. Measurements: Weight: 5 oz. 14g. Antique wooden jewellery trinket box solid silver corners ornate monogrammed
Over the next few weeks I am selling a large collection of antiques for my brother. Most have been acquired through auction houses. This is a beautiful Victorian jewellery or trinket box. Made of very dark wood and decorated with solid silver. Hallmarked. Monogrammed P and looks like a small"i" it may be that part of the second letter is missing. Also silver on the corners. The corners have maker's mark, think it is WW, and letter y which would date to 1888. Different date on the letter P. Capital C. I think this is Victorian. It is beautifully made. Lid opens and closes very well. There are some scratches on the top(and a sticker mark which can be removed) but a large split in the base. Measures approx 5" x 2 5/8" and 1 1/2" deep. Monogrammed with script Gothic letter"F" to the handle front, and to the rear with" Mar.13'97" Unknown pattern. Probably not a mass production(not a full line) Hallmarked to the rear: Eagle" R" Lion" for Reed& Barton; Sterling" for 925/1000 silver purity; A. Stowell& Co. for retailer. Made in Taunton. Vintage 1948 Sterling Silver Shot Glass Measure Two-sided. Single/double Marked"Sterling" with 863# and Manchester emblem Recently we purchased a partial estate of an elderly woman who had several intriguing pieces. My husband just informed me that this is a glass for measuring liquor"shots" Instead of a goblet, so I am revising my description and title. I believe this shot glass was a commemorative piece given by a couple on the occasion of their wedding. Or something they received as a gift. Engraved in script on the back is"Feny and Johnny Dec. 4, 1948. On the front is a set of calligraphic intials, BWA" Glass is about 3 5/8" tall and weighs 2.1 ounces(unpacked) There is a light ring of discoloration on the very bottom of the inside, perhaps from an initial use back in 1948.
