This fine antique Edwardian sterling silver cup has a plain bell shaped form onto a domed circular foot. The body is encircled with a plain girdle. The cup is fitted with two opposing scroll handles with impressive acanthus leaf thumbpieces. This large example of Edwardian silverware retains the original hallmarked plain domed cover surmounted by a sterling silver urn style finial. This fine antique cup is fitted to a circular ebonised wood plinth. Encircled with a vacant silver inscription band; the band may be engraved with a personal inscription if so desired.
