This is a one-layer map of North Carolina produced by Denoyer-Geppert. This is an intermediate map. So it is more detailed than a primary or early learner map. The map does have bright colors and simple-to-read text. This is a vintage canvas map. There is not a copyright date. But I estimate this map is probably from the 1960's? This map measures 45 inches high by 52 inches wide. It comes mounted on a spring roller. With a wood dowel at the end. This map is older(probably 1960's) So it does show some wear and age. It does not have any specific defects, but does smell and look"old. It kind of has a vintage-y smell to it, but there is no water damage. There is a"line" toward the bottom of the map that shows some wear or age. This line of wear is at the very bottom of the map, by the dowel rod, and it is not on the map ... moreof North Carolina. This is a collector map by AJ NYSTROM& Co. Printed on canvas either in the mid 30's or early 40's. It Has been repaired many times as you can see the yellowing of tape at the top. Still needs a little minding with tape I a few areas the edges of canvas have usual amount of fraying some light stains. Wrinkles but it's still got a lot of life remaining. It's big. It's cool, its SPACE. Here's a teaching aid produced by the Hearne Brothers from, I'm guessing from the illustration work, the late 50s to early 60s. The first two photos show the front and back of the chart. The actual printed area is roughly 66" wide by 50" tall. I've spent some time detailing the defects in photos. There's some water/mildew stains and tears on the edges of the pull bar(not that unusual for pull down charts)

Vintage Replogle 9" Globe World Scholar Series School Map Geography
9 inch Replogle globe from the 1960's. The globe features the USSR and is from the World Scholar Series. Leroy Tolman is listed as Cartographer, and he held that position until 1968. This small, school globe is mounted on a plastic base and is in really nice shape. The center line shows a tan line which you can see in the picture. Smoke free house. The map is a brightly colored map made by Beckley-Cardy Co. Chicago 39, Illinois. It probably hung in some school classroom sometime during it's life. This old Nystrom pull down school map came from an old school house. The actual map size is 50 by 40 and overall 58 by 40. The map has a cloth back and nice vivid colors. Because of it's school use and age it has some crinkles. A loss of color area by the large South America right hand corner, some edge wear, some black bottom color loss, and a front and back clear tape repair by the Falkland Islands. Please see pictures. It is dated 1937. The map is in nice condition considering age and use. It still has the original top and bottom wood rollers. I ship to USA. Please email with any questions.

This old NYSTROM school map is probably a 1937 issue. It is very similar in size and looks to six other maps all found together in a school house and the other Nystrom maps were dated 1937. This old map is in nice condition considering it's age and school use. It has some crinkles. Stain spots near bottom and a two inch tape repair on the back which is not very noticeable on front. It has some black bottom paint loss. Please see pictures. It still has it's original wooden top and bottom rollers. It has a cloth back and the map is 50 by 40 and 58 by 40 overall.

Wonderful vintage 1950 pull down map of Kansas with great graphics! It is from the George F. Cram Company. Inc. of Indianapolis, Indiana(Mark on/Rub Off" Edition# 1521. One interesting fact is that the population of Kansas in 1950 was 1,905,299. I think this was probably used in an elementary school classroom. It is in very good condition for it's age and the mechanism works fine. There are a couple of worn spots but nothing too serious. It is 60" long. This is a beautiful mint condition wall map of the United States. It was printed by OTTENHEIMER publishers of Baltimore. Maryland in 1966. The Cartographer was Channing Rwen Kao PhD. It was distributed by N. Miness and Company of Hicksville. New York. This map was certainly made for use in school or at home by a student. It is a Conic projection map. The map measures 37 inches across by 25 inches tall when open. This map is in its original packaging. The packaging is fantastic as you can see in my photo. And has the mid-century graphic design that you would expect. The distributor was in Hicksville, New York, so it is not lost on me that the color of the packaging is the orange& blue of the New York Worlds Fair. I slit open the top of the package to be able to take the map out and photograph it. Antique Vintage School Pull Down Rand McNally WORLD Map 50" x 64"
This listing is for a Antique"WORLD School Pull Down Map that measures approximately 50" tall by 64" wide. There is a yellow discoloration along the bottom 4 1/2" of the map. The map itself is in good shape and the pull down action works great. This map is marked Special Ranally Political World Modified Sinusoidal Projection. We can't find a date on the map but from what the different countries are called we have narrowed it down to 1930's or 1940's we believe but not sure. There are a couple of pieces of tape on the left edge but it doesn't look like they are there because of rips. Please see pics closely for condition and ask any questions as this is sold as is.
