I've probably drank all the alcohol one lifetime is allowed and I no longer entertain like I used to when I was younger. So, I figure that I'll let this one go to a new person who loves globes and/or bars. And this item will easily accommodate the lover of either or both! Originally I was going to have to take this apart to ship. So I show pictures of it coming apart. But I found a wonderful box that it can ship in so I've put it back together for shipping. The pictures do show that its very easily disassembled for storing between uses if you don't have enough room to display it always. In fact, I used no tools to take it apart or put it together, the metal square that holds the magnet arch was used as a screw driver as it felt brass and was strong and the perfect size. I also like the fact that the top and bottom are not permanently attached as that would seem like a formula for breakage as surely someone will walk into it and break the globe, the glasses or the liquor. Worse yet, that could break all three~! I also have pictures of some of the nicks on the piece. There are probably a few more. But they are all small and don't really deter from the beauty of this old world globe. It was made in Italy and the stamp on the underside clearly indicates that. Here's some measurements: size of the globe: diameter is 8" the outer ring is: 17" the height is: 22" there are small nob feet on the bottom. They are about 1" high the bottom shelf would be perfect to store additional glasses the inside is perfect to store liquor bottles and more glasses you can also use any of the spaces to store the ice and tools if needed

They had made shelves with wood& turned over cat litter ... morebuckets& they lined every wall! I never did hear the story for the sale. But it was huge. This globe light was already lit up which was good because the helped had to crawl under tables to unplug it. It has that old world look to it. There are 3 different gauges on the base(pictured) I have no clue what they measure or their accuracy. There is a small scratch by one of them(it's pictured too) The helper pointed out that this globe has a smaller pointer light inside it- sure enough, when you move the latitude& longitude wheels(located under the globe) the little light moves. Here again, I'm not guaranteeing it's accuracy. It's pictured in Soviet Union, hope you can make it out, with the reflection from the flash of the camera on the surface. There was a sticker on it as well. I tried to pull it off& just the top layer came off. It's stuck real good& I was afraid of scraping it off& damaging the globe. It's pictured as well. The globe has no dents& it really has a nice glow to it when lit(that's what caught my eye) It stands 18" tall, it's 13" deep& 12" wide(the whole thing, base& all) I hope you like these items. The ... morering is marked in latin representing the zones of latitude etc. The stand has the signs and names of the zodiac and the dates that they represent. The globe measures approximately 4 1/2" in diameter. The stand is approximately 5 3/4" square at its base and 4 3/4" tall. The globe is mounted on a wooden ring that fits into the stand to rotate on its axis. The ring is approximately 6" in diameter and 1/2" wide. The stand is notched so that the ring and globe fit into it securely. The globe has a long metal pin that runs through its center allowing it to spin. The globe slightly moves up and down on this pin and it may be necessary to move it very slightly to the center of the pin so that it rotates freely. Right out of a cabin in the adirondack mountains to a local estate sale. This coleman 152 lantern is in orginal vintage condition. Still had good clean kerosene in it, which removed for shipping purposes. I purchased two together and am selling separately. This a a fantastic lantern made by the AmericanGas Machine company and distributed by Gamble and Skogmo in 1947. This lantern is the same model as the AGM 3006 and the Sears 7462. This is a really nice quartersawn oak barrister bookcase. Sometimes called a lawyers bookcase or stacked bookcase. This piece was manufactured by the GLOBE WERNICKE Company of Cincinnati. They were competitors of Macey and others. Four separate stacks with this bookcase-a graduated unit with 3 different sizes. Note the top unit has a leaded glass door. Original labels on the interior and nice leopard bands on the sides. Super finish which is smooth and even. The interior height of the units is 13.5. 11.5, and two which are 9.5. The overall size of the piece is 34 wide, 12 deep, and 57.5 high. I don't think you will find a nicer four stack unit. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Up for auction is a pre-owned original Coleman Pyrex Globe used on 275.5114 Lanterns made in the U.S.A. This globe shows NO cracks or chips but does show what looks to me like wear marks on some of the white stripes. see pictures for a better description) I believe Coleman discontinued these globes. I am auctioning off a very clean and great running COLEMAN MODEL NUMB ER 295 POWERHOUSE UNLEADED G AS LANTERN with a new glass lan tern globe and new generator. O ver $27.00 in new parts were put into this lantern to make to func tion the way it should. Th is lantern was manufactu red in April of 1990 but was not used much because the generator need replacing. For auction today we h ave a vintage kerosene or oil lamp globe. This globe is 2 1/2 inches at the base and 7 3/4 inches in height. And would fit a Number 1 burner. Globe is heavy. And has a two seam mark s opposite one another. The top flares out into a bea utiful shape that I would call a pie crust patter n. Vintage Modern Mid Century AMBER Glass Globe Table Lamps/Lights Pair Unique 60's
Excellent condition. Comes with Drum shades. 3 way lighting( dim. Normal, bright) Very little fading on some spots of the globes, Have to get about an inch away from it to notice. Large, Heavy Antique Cast Brass Arts & Crafts Fleur de Lis Light Globe Finial
5-1/8" wide at the top and 5-1/2" long. Very heavy cast brass fleur de lis finial which original was attached to an old light globe. It was originally painted black and still is. The lower hanging finial swivels easily. The top fitting part is threaded at 3/8" diameter.
