Roll down school map like the teacher rolled down in front of the chalkboard. Huge 64 inches wide by 50 inches deep. That's just the map information area. 48 States plus Hawaii and Alaska too. Both poles are well attached, a little bit of the laminate is coming off one side on the bottom. Has a few stains, shows wear and use in some places, no real tears I don't think. Bright colors. This vintage Denoyer-Geppert classroom wall map is a sequence map of Greece. With four color-coded sections, as shown. It's the old-fashioned type of classroom map that's linen-backed and attached to wooden rods, without a spring roller or bulky hardware. It has a small metal ring for hanging. The map rolls up neatly and still has its original purple shoelace-cloth tie. The map has creases and wear. But is in generally good condition with still-bright colors and no significant soiling or tears. Please use zoom feature to see the condition of the map in better detail. The map measures 43&1/2 inches wide by 33&1/2 inches long(within the rods) and 47" wide and 35&1/4 inches long including the wooden rods. This is too wide to fit in a mailing tube. This is a great old school room pull down map of Texas from 1954. It has sure changed sense then. This map has loads of information for that time. And is a great piece of Texas history. This is a used pull down vintage/retro school map of Africa by Denoyer-Geppert. C. 1984, Made in USA, title Map 2054, Africa in 1940 and 1984. It shows the chronology of African Independence. With the former colonial names and the years they gained independence. Vivid colors. The pull-down mechanism is nice and tight. It still has the metal rail that attaches to the wall and roller. Hi. You are bidding on an old school roll down map dated 1963 by Denoyer and Geppert for Cartocraft. You can see the date. The gold foil label and the mark of Denoyer and Geppert. This map is approximately 4.5 feet by 6 feet. It is in good condition. There is one small spot that seems worn and it is a vintage map that is 50 years old, but the colors are great and I think you will be pleased with condition. It still has the wooden dowels.
