Very nice russian pull down canvas school map. Very detailed and in pretty good shape for its age. It has some water stains on one side that aren't too visible from the front but you can see in the pics on the back. This was a college map used by the Portland State College Geography Dept. Wrinkles, areas where print has separated from canvas which can be easily be repaired with clear tape. Frayed canvas edges some stains. Most of the damage is hard to see from a few feet away. Some prefer a worn map others want new. This is like an old leather jacket worn but it fits. Half the shipping cost is the PVC pipe used to protect the map. 60"x 66"

Vintage 1950's Cram's Superior Minnesota Pull Down Map From A Parochial School
This great map came out of the St Felix Parochial School in Wabasha. Minnesota. The actual map portion measures abaout 48 inches tall and 45 inches wide. The entire unit opened up measures about 5 feet tall and 55 inches wide. Great looking map with attractive colors and the reference cities listed in the shape of Wisconsin, nice detail. Check out the old mining towns up in the Iron Range, great history lesson. Shows some wear from use. Nice wood. Nice Bracket for hanging. Reel Works Perfect. Here for sale is a working A. J. Nystrom pull down wall map from the early 1940's Landform series. The printed area of the map measures about 42 by 50 inches. The map comes with the metal mounting bracket. The map is in used condition. Having been most likely in a school in the 1940's. There is some creasing and edge wear and age related staining and toning. There is a one inch tear in the Bolivia area of the map that is repairable. Denoyer Geppert Pull Down Cartocraft Slated Chalkboard Cloth Map 2 sided World
Great cloth classroom map from the 1960s. This is a Denoyer Geppert Cartocraft slated chalkboard map on a tension rod that measures 64"x 46" It was covered in chalk writing when I found this at a recent estate and I wiped it down with a damp cloth which removed the chalk but the map retains a light haziness from years of chalk use. It pulls up and down easily and displays nicely. It has a 1.5" tear along the side and an angle shaped 1.5" tear in the center. Both tears lay nicely and if mended with the right expertise, will hide very well. It has no odors, no water damage, no marker or pen marks, no rippling. It is sturdy enough for responsible use. Huge Vtg 1950's? 5'x4' Cram's Pull Down United States School Wall Map USA Decor This old map is actually bigger than 5' x 4' However. If you were to cut it and frame it, the map portion itself is about 4 feet high and just over 5 feet across. It is on a wooden window-shade-type. Pull down roller. The spring feels like it has tension in it, but we cannot say for sure it will work because it is a) quite old, and b) we have no place to test it. The Atlantic Ocean has water damage. The coast of California has tears; however. Overall, for its age, it looks really good. It does not look faded or sun damaged. There is some missing black overlayer in the bottom right-hand corner. Naturally. The map is being sold as is. We will pad and wrap it carefully and ship it to you in a large cardboard box/tube. Excellent Vintage Rand McNally Pull Down School Map Merged Relief South America
Beautiful pull down school map by Rand McNally dating back to the 1960s. This is a canvas/cloth map that measures about 44"x 63" WITHOUT the hem. It includes mounting bracket(no screws) and wood pole and operates easily and without issue. I found no holes. Tears, markings or water damage. There is some creasing along the sides of the lower half, likely from the roller. There is also a very small scuff along the edge. There is a faint chalk arrow drawn on the map and a few inches of the hem torn away from the pole. The colors are very bright and vibrant, there are no smells at all, no yellowing, just a fabulous map. You will not be disappointed with the overall condition of this old map. This map. This is a great map that is huge, and mounted to a spring loaded post and with a wall hanging bracket, so you can hang this and pull the map down when you need it. The map features DuPage County Illinois and it shows a tiny bit of the city of Chicago and a lot of surrounding suburbs. This is a great map for any map collection or collection of pull down school maps! Condition: This piece is vintage and used with some wear. The mounting bracket and post are in good shape, but the spring retraction is not currently working(needs to be rewound) so the map has to be hand wound(this should be an easy fix) There is one spot in the middle of the map where a piece of metal was affixed(it almost looks like a snap or grommet) but we're not sure if this was original to the piece or not. This is a vintage wall map of Caribbean America. Published circa 1950 by Denoyer-Geppert Co. This unique pull down map of the Caribbean shows countries, islands, railroads, cities and towns, and various geographic features. This map is in great condition for being made circa 1950. The paper is in great shape with a few rolled folds. Stains, and some paper loss along the top of the map close to the dowel. The map measures 36 3/4 inches wide x 26.5 inches tall, and with the wooden dowels included it measures 41 inches wide x 28 1/2 inches tall. This is a large, beautiful wall map full of history and geography!

Fabulous pull down school map from Denoyer Geppert. Dating to the 1950s 60s. This is a canvas/cloth slated map, one sided featuring US, that measures about 64"x 46" WITHOUT the hem. It includes mounting bracket(no screws) and wood pole and operates easily and without issue. I found one tear at the bottom close to the pole, well clear of the map itself, faint chalk markings and light paint spatter close to the pole like someone painted the room with a roller when the map was rolled up and just the thin strip exposed. Structurally this map is excellent, very smooth and crisp. Colors are brighter than photos show, there are no smells at all, just a great map. Vintage 1950s Wenschow Cloth Pull Down School Map Relief Eurasia HUGE 64"x 67"
Fabulous pull down school map from Wenschow. Dating to the 1950s 60s. This is a canvas/cloth map that measures about 64"x 67" WITHOUT the hem. It includes mounting bracket(no screws) and wood pole and operates easily and without issue. I found no holes, tears, markings or water damage. There is light soil and a hole on the hem. There are roller marks/ripples along the side. There is also light soil and creasing along the bottom 18" because the map was not rolled properly. Structurally this map is excellent, very smooth and crisp. Very large map. Colors are bright and vibrant, there are no smells at all, no yellowing, just a great map. Even with the issues mentioned,you will not be disappointed with the condition of this old map. This map. Vintage Rand McNally Poster Pull Down School Map of Australia with New Zealand
Very clean pull down school map from Rand McNally. This is a poster paper map that measures about 50"x 62" It includes mounting bracket(no screws) and wood pole and operates easily and without issue. I found no holes. Tears, markings, water damage or creases. There is some tape residue on the backside hem and a slight roller ripple at the bottom of the map. The map is in both English and Spanish. It is aprox. 54 X 53 Inches. The map features Mexico, Central America, West Indies and Northern South America. The Pull Down mechanism works. This is a vintage wall map of Political South America. Published circa 1960 by Rand McNally. This unique pull down map displays South America in vibrant colors. This map is in great condition for being made circa 1960. The paper is in great shape and is mounted on a spring roller attached to a metal wall bracket. The map measures 50 inches wide x 66.5 inches tall. And with the metal dowels and bracket included it measures 54 inches wide x 70.5 inches tall. This is a large, beautiful wall map full of history and geography!

This brightly colored map of the United States and vicinity was made in 1963 by Denoyer-Geppert Co. out of Chicago. Illinois. This map shows countries, cities, the different territories of the United States, principal railroad lines, and sea routes. It also highlights gold and coal mining in Alaska, as well as territory dates for regions in the United States. This map overall is in condition. With normal wear and tear. It does have some paper cracking throughout sections of the map. The map measures 43 1/2 inches wide x 30 1/2 inches tall, and with the wooden bars included it measures 48 inches wide x 33 inches tall. This is a large, beautiful wall map full of history and geography!

This is a vintage wall map of Latin America. Published in 1961 by Denoyer-Geppert Co. This unique pull down map also includes inset maps of Puerto Rico, Panama, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Lima, Santiago, and Buenos Aires. Titles and legends are written in Spanish and English. This map is in great condition for being made in 1961. The paper is in great shape with a few rolled folds. Slightly tattered edges, and some paper loss at top. The map measures 53.5 inches wide x 57.25 inches tall, and with the wooden dowels included it measures 65 inches wide x 67 inches tall. This is a large, beautiful wall map full of history and geography!
