Very nice condition with some age showing on the bottoms of the maps as shown. The colors are incredible. There are 4 pull down maps/charts in this set. Vintage 1980/90s Mexico, Central America and West Indies Pull Down Classroom Map
This is a beautifully colored map of Mexico. Central America and the West Indies made by Nystrom in the 1980s/90s. It is a classic pull down classroom map. The top overlay map lists the names and illustrates the territories. The map below does not. The map is approx. 50" x 65" and is secured by a wooden dowel. The overlay is secured by a narrow length of metal. The overlay map is made of plastic and the map below is made of plasticized paper. There is minor wear on the lower left hand corner of the map but overall, the map is in very good condition. Would be a useful instructional tool as well as a great decorative item/prop or could be used as a window blind as well.

Vintage Atlantic Coast Line Railroad Wall Map Pull Down Hanging 1938 Poole Bros.
I have a 1938 poole bros. railroad wall map. It's in very used vintage condition. It would still be great to hang on the wall and use for decor. It's 38"x45" There are some tears at the top and tape on the back across the top. It has creasing where it has been rolled up and it smells like old paper. It's attached to wood poles at the top and bottom. The torn part could be cut off at the top and re-attached. It will come rolled up and be shipped in a document box. Look at the close up picture which shows the Black Border. Made for higher learning institutions and Governmental use. It's built to last. A real old Crams map from either the 20"s or 1930's. that's my estimated date from selling several similar Crams. The maps top dowel has two parts that screw together.like most but 1/2 is missing. As you can see in photos I simply used a small nail in the center of the dowel half to hang the map. It is aged well for collectors. Muted colors frayed canvas edges small torn areas mon the edges. All can be fixed with tape on the back. It has been repaired many times over the years. You can see the photo showing scale of miles is almost covered by lower dowel from trimming. Also not the scale of miles was hand written prior to printing on the canvas. Also a good indicator of the age. 55" wide and 33" long

This listing is fort a 1970 DENOYER GEPPERT Physical Political World Map in fair condition This map has a lot off life remaining but has had a rough 45 years. pictures show the stains from what appears to be water stained on the edges small torn areas are not to bad. Top dowel needs some screws to hold the 2 half's together. One of the half's is slightly warped I learned from one off my customers how to turn a $100 map like this one into a $1500 map. I have sold maps in worse condition and the finished product was dramatic. this is how one professional interior decorator completely transformed a room and made a bundle First they removed the wood dowels followed by trimming the brown area at the bottom off and 6" off the top so only the title remains. I have 300 of this style map by DENOYER GEPPERT. All the descriptions will be about the same with title amd pictutes you can see the actual map and subject matter. Most are from the early 60's and 70's. They are printed on a heavy weight Paper. Great colors on these flip chart style school maps. Almost all will have little areas that are torn on the edges which is easy to repair with ordinary scotch tape on the back.I consider this normal vintage but will let you decide by the pictures. All have the punched out holes at top which you can trim and frame. The pictures were taken with props to help visualize what they may look like in a home. They do not come in a frame All are the same size 44" x 36" They will be shipped rolled up in a container to help protect.
