I found this print at an estate sale along with several other prints by the same artist and producer. The lady that purchased them from told me they were stored in a closet for over 30 years. This one is a Map of Paris by W. Landelle(his printed signature is in the corner) it was copywrited by Jacques Petit. I am not an expert on vintage printed art but I have traveled the world. Visited many art museums and I am antiques collector and lover of vintage items so I to the best of my knowledge this is a true vintage piece. This is an antique/vintage pamphlet that contains a fold out map of Paris. The exact age is unknown. As there is no date. It was found in a box though, of our great great grandmother's things, with the other items ranging from the late 1800s to the earlier 1900s. The map measures approximately 30 inches in length and approximately 22 inches in height when fully opened. There are two tears in the map. As seen in the photos with the measurements. The booklet that the map is in measures 4 5/8" x 6 1/4" The booklet contains pages with information on the designation. Addresses and visiting hours. This item over all is in very good condition. Rare original antique pocket guide to Paris streets. In french. But it was bought from estate sale of german soldier with other items in our other auctions. I am unsure how or for which purposes it was used by him. Shows stations and monuments also. The book is in so so condition. As per fotos. there is small extract from some old newspaper inside. maybe more on other pages, I've not gone through each page to check. see the foto. All pages(over 100) seem to be there except possibly for last(blank? page in the back. this is why the first title page you see is a bit loose. Because it is missing its last page counterpart. all of the inner pages have unglued from the cover, but they are all holding well together otherwise in this unglued pack. they are just no longer attached to the hardcover binding. this book comes also with large folder ... moremap(Also in fragile condition. Each section measures 2.63' tall x 3.31' wide. When fully assembled. The map measures 5.25' tall x 6.83' wide. The map is backed in linen. There is some slight staining in the creases from age. And some pencil markings in the top right corners. This is a beautiful map and would make a wonderful centerpiece in any room! I will package this very securely so that it reaches you safely.

Paris Press Booklet & Physical Map of France (French Embassy, 1970s?)
PARIS was published by the French Embassy News Service. It is marked No. 1389. The booklet measures approximately 11 inches high and 8.5 inches wide. There are 13 pages. Illustrated with photos in black and white. There is no publication or copyright date in the booklet. We think it dates back to the 1970s. We found a reference to the 1968 census and a reference to the 1969-70 academic year. The booklet is bound by two staples and the binding is intact. There is no writing; the pages are clean. There is some discoloration that comes with age. The cover shows some wear. Particularly along the edges and at the corners. We have photographed the entire booklet. There is also a two-sided sheet entitled Physical Map of France. It measures 8.5 by 11 inches. There is a map on the front and an overview of physical data on the back.
