This old map was part of a 1914 atlas. It is in very good condition for being 100 years old. Most of the maps from this Atlas show a much older copyright date. Page measures 10.25 by 15 inches or 26 by 38.2 cm with actual map a little smaller. The map looks much better than my picture. It shows Streets. Cemeteries, parks and other points of interest in plain and easy to read text. Your map will be shipped flat in a large cardboard enforced envelope enclosed in a plastic sleeve for its protection and safe delivery. You get the original 100 year old map. Not a modern copy.

There is an old repaired tear at left with little loss in the anonymous'farmland' portion of the map inside the left margin. Plate mark measurements ca26x33cm. The margins are very small and also slightly curled at left from wear at the book hinge. Medium-weight linen-based paper with chain lines and a blank verso. Early 1900's Linen-back Folding Map PLAN DE PARIS Map Folding map of Paris made up of a series of rectangular sections attached to a linen background. This measures 31"x 25" when fully open. In pencil on the linen back this is dated 1906 but I did not see any dates on the map. This does show some wear and there are a few edge creases that are beginning to tear. see last picture with red arrows) Overall this is in good condition for it's age.

U.S. Army Air Corps Map from World War II 1942 Paris. France Up for bids is this rare WW II U.S. Army Air Corps Aeronautical Chart or Map of Paris. France. As I read the map, it is dated 1942. It is the first edition. The map is in very good condition for its age. There are folds in it as shown. There are 2 tiny holes along the folds. There is some staining and yellowing around the edges as shown in the photos. Colors and details are still very clear and crisp. Paris and 12500 is written in red and regular pencil in the upper right-hand corner. The map is not on regular paper. It feels like a linen paper. But I do not know what it is actually called. Map is approximately 32 1/2" x 25" The chart is from the estate of a member of the 557th Bombardment Squadron of the U.S. Army Air Corps of WW II. We have for sale a Vintage Michelin Airstop Gas Air Auto Automobile Road Map Paris France 1954. The map when opened measures about 40 inches in length and 19-1/2 inches in width. It is one sided only. The map is in very nice shape for its age. Not torn or written on, the color is nice. The map is in French and is a map of Paris and the surrounding area. I did find a date of 1954 on one portion of the map. It came with other paperwork from the 1950's so I believe this would be an accurate date.
