Vintage Replogle 12” World Premiere Series Globe Beautiful illuminated globe from the 1970's that features raised topography in the mountainous regions of the world. The globe lights up using the on/off switch in the cord. This globe has a time dial at the North Pole and a hanger that measures degrees from 0-90 from the equator to both poles. You can see the Replogle label in the Pacific Ocean on the globe. It measures about 16” tall from the base to the top and is 12" in diameter. This globe is in great condition and has been stored in a non-smoking home. A great addition for any vintage globe collector or for someone who just wants to display a great item in their home! This piece dates from the early 1900's most likey used in a school or college. This globe is in nice condition for surviving over a hundred years. All original parts including hardware. Wood months ring and cast metal parts. Wood ring very nice with all 12 months showing only age wear, globe has yellowing age wear and I'm not sure how to clean so I will leave this up to the buyer, also as seen in pictures there are some small area's of paper wear to globe but does not take away from the beauty and purpose of this globe. It is in excellent used condition.The Lucite is clean and undamaged.The globe is also clean and does not appear to have any scratches.Peeling or any other noticeable damage.The wiring looks and works well,and all hardware is clean and present.I just cannot tell you how nice the condition of this item is! I am not sure how old it is,but I am sure you will figure that out by the countries that exist on the globe.It is approximately 16" tall and 14" wide.The globe itself is 12" wide. No returns! so read description,study all photos,and ask questions if necessary. I couldn't make out the decal or sticker as to who made this globe. As you can see there are at least 3 or more dent's. I was told that these were also instructional teaching globes.
