Up for auction is a very fine original. Vintage 1908 New York City street map with lots of detail and color, produced by Rand, McNally and Co. This folds out to about 34 inches or about 3 feet. This apparently was an advertisement for the Clendening Hotel located at 202 West 103rd Street"Manhattan's most homelike, refined and economical hotel. Nice age related condition with the actual map being in excellent condition. Just a bit of wear and pencil writing to the cover page showing the Clendening Hotel located at 202 West 103rd Street. This old map was part of a 1914 atlas. It is in very good condition for being 100 years old. Most of the maps from this Atlas show a much older copyright date. This one shows 1904. Page measures 10.25 by 15 inches or 26 by 38.2 cm with actual map a little smaller. The map looks much better than my picture. It shows Streets. Cemeteries, parks and other points of interest in plain and easy to read text.
