Although it focuses mainly on Alaska and the Yukon, it also includes sections on the Pacific Northwest including Idaho and Montana. The book is in decent condition for it's age with some fraying around the binding and a few pages pulled from the stitching. One of the maps has a slight tear outside the actual image (see Pic). The spine is still tight. This is an ORIGINAL with the maps (including the 6 foldouts) and book plate are all tipped in, making them easily removable. It DOES HAVE the green overprint that shows forested areas. It shows most of the towns of Raymond. Gray, and Windham, and parts of Casco, New Gloucester, Standish, Gorham, Falmouth, Cumberland, and North Yarmouth. Also, it shows Sebago, Little Sebago, and Sabbathday Lakes. Most antique and vintage maps have subdued shades, but these maps have rich colors that will really stand out framed. Because the maps are printed back to back. Only one can be displayed at a time. An original page from a 1960s atlas. Not a reprint or copy. Condition: Very good. The pages was just a bit big for the scanner. So part of the margin does not show in the image. The actual page is complete. Approximate dimensions: Page: 8.75 x 12 inches. Maps: 8 x 11 inches. PAPER CONDITION. Because most of the prints and advertisements were once in books or magazines. They all have at least a small bit of wear. Although there are differences in the amount ... moreof wear, items and prints are worthy of framing or another type of display. La France et ses Colonies. Both are printed single sided and the map is very nicely hand colored. Text in French. Paper size: approximately 13.75 by 10.25 inches(35 by 26 cm) with roughness near margin where it was detached from binding; printed area is approximately 8.75 by 7 inches(22.25 by 17.75 cm) although this varies slightly from map to map. Margins are nice and wide which allows for a great deal of flexibility in framing and display. Page maps are undated, but the edition has been dated by the fold-out map in the rear, and by comparing demographic information against historical records.
