I will. As always, pack these carefully. They will be sent flat and will require a signature for pick up to protect your investment. Many are original National Geographic maps. They seem to range from the early to late 1920’s– 40’s. They are beautiful if I do say so and that is why I grabbed them originally. A detailed War Office linen map dated November 1915 of the St. Quentin region of France; scale 1:100.000, produced by the Geographical Section of the General Staff, being No. 18 on the official grid plan of northern France and Belgium. The map is in lovely condition but with a few signs of ageing, as can be seen in the photos. Size folded: 16.5cm x 11cm; size unfolded: 85cm x 65cm. The First World War hit St Quentin very hard. In September 1914. The city was overrun, and it endured a harsh occupation. From 1916, it lay at the heart of the war zone, because the Germans had integrated it into the Hindenburg Line. After the evacuation of the population in March. The town was systematically looted and industrial equipment removed or destroyed. The map essentially shows the Hudson River Valley from North Haverstraw on the upper left to Pine Bridge on the upper right to Scarsdale on the lower right and to West Norwood on the lower left. Interesting to find a reference to the State Prison(Sing Sing) Kingsland Point and Erie RR docks stretching well into the River near Piermont. Europae Descripto Anno 1500" Europe shown at the time of the Renaissance. States. Countries, cities, borders. 28 interesting and colorful armorial bearings surround on the boarders. Heavy linen paper with the watermark"Lana 1590" the paper crafter of such precious publications as Guttenberg Bibles. So I am told. Lana survives today. Long in the business of making the very highest quality paper for just such heirloom documents. Measures about 21 inches wide and 16 inches high. Many historic notes(about 20) throughout the map appear to be in French and to speak of significant milestones throughout and leading up to 1500's Europe; the fall of Constantinople for example. 1854 Antique Map Oswego County New York Roll-Up Linen Backed Old Schoolhouse?
Here's a real nice antique map of Oswego County. New York. It is linen backed and measures 59 inches wide and 53 inches tall. There's some damage to the top left corner(see pics) and some water staining and age yellowing, but all of this doesn't affect the legibility. For 160 years old, it is in very good original condition. This is the roll up, school house kind, and probably originally was hung in an old school house in Oswego County somewhere(Sandy Creek? 160 years ago!

Oak Ridge's population was 29,330 at the 2010 census. Oak Ridge was established in 1942 as a production site for the Manhattan Project—the massive U.S. U.K. and Canadian operation that developed the atomic bomb. Scientific development still plays a crucial role in the city's economy and culture in general. Starting in October 1942, the United States Army Corps of Engineers began acquiring the Oak Ridge area for the Manhattan Project. Unlike TVA's land acquisitions for Norris Dam—which were still fresh on the minds of many Anderson Countians—the Corps' declaration of taking" was much more swift and final.
