X 30 cm(16.5" X 12" The maps are printed on both sides of each page. The pages are thick enough to prevent any showing through of maps on the opposite side of the page. Condition Very good. This old Hawaii map is very nice condition. I believe that this Map dates from the 1950's or so. But I am sure you will know. Included here is 1 souvenir Map of long ago. This map is marked Hawaii and dated from 1958 or so. These are maps of all of the Hawaiian islands showing the ocean surround. And were probably given away to tourists of the day. I see that this map is relatively clean and fully readable showing slight reading wear and no rips. Quite colorful, and opens fully. Hopefully someone needs this to complete their collection. Meaning that they could be removed as a single intact sheet. The maps have a single fold in the center. This is the first Stieler Atlas to have been printed using the lithographic method. The colors are strong and vibrant. These maps are printed on ONE SIDE ONLY. Note: These maps are from a German Atlas. Geographical names and any text are. Naturally, in German. Condition Very Good. It is part of the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. Located 155 miles(135 nmi; 249 km) northwest of Nihoa and 430 miles(370 nmi; 690 km) northwest of Honolulu, and is part of the Hawaiian Islands National Wildlife Refuge within the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands National Monument. The United States Census Bureau reports its land area as 182.890 square meters, or 45.193 acres(182,890 m 2) The island is rocky with steep sides and has very little soil.
