This auction is a true collector’s item. It is and Art Nouveau Majolica hand painted flower vase. It was probably made in Austria in the early 20 th Century. It displays magnificently a lady on the front holding a bunch of flowers. Her dress is very natural and delicate. In a soft pink pastel colour. It is definitely a collector’s item that will no longer be available, so bid high if you are interested on it! Estimated Age: early 1900’s. Provenance: Austria. Dimensions: 19” tall. 15.5” long and 14.5” wide. Condition: Excellent condition(commensurate with the age of this item) the back of the vase was professionally restored. This auction is for a large and beautiful antique pressed glass basket. The bowl part measures 12-5/8" x 9-3/4" wide x 3-1/2" high. And it is 10-3/4" high from the bottom to the top of the handle. There is a slight yellow cast to the glass with its diamond design around the bowl part. I learned from an antique dealer that the bowl part was made in a mold, then it was hand finished. The bowl was reheated and the 2 sides"indented. After that, a glass rod was heated and formed into the handle, which was then attached to the bowl. At the point of attachment on both sides, the number"10" is impressed inside a circle. In my research, I was unable to learn what these numbers signify. Perhaps they stand for the company that produced this basket. A friend of mine is downsizing and asked if I would try to sell this ... moreglass basket for her. Hand Painted German Creamer This is an excellent creamer made by Johann Seltman circa 1900(see pic of bottom for maker mark) You can see a factory defect on the spout where it was nicked. This was done at the factory as the glaze is covering this defect! It is a neat odity and suprised it made it past quality control. It is in beatiful condition and would make a great addition to your collection. I do see a very minor knick on the reverse side. Which is barely noticeable in the pics and in person. It measures about 3 1/4" at the base and stands about 4" tall. Shipping within the US only is $8.50.

The size is 76 inches by 87 inches. The photos were taken on my king size bed. The blocks in the top are mostly hand pieced. There is some machine stitching in the top. You can handily see it and it may not show up on the photo. The hand-sewn Red Star quilt top measures 82" x 94"comes from a Ridgefield Ct Estate sale. The red color is vibrant and the white sheeting strong with very little isolated age-yellowing that is hard to spot. This is a lovely example of American quilting.

The quilt top is hand pieced and hand sewn with fabrics from the 1870's. It measures 47' x 67' and is in very good unwashed condition. With few scattered old age oxidation storage spots stains, no holes or repairs. Strong and sturdy no fading or fabric splitting. The stitching throughout is at 6 stitches per inch. The quilter put a lot of thought into the selections of materials to give the quilt top a great visual look. The quilt top is hand pieced and hand sewn with fabrics from the 1870's. It measures a generous 84' x 73' and is in very good unwashed condition. With few old age storage brown spots scattered about and 3 small holes/bites in the fabric. One area along edge has repeating fading as shown in photos. I have pictured the two damaged areas on the edge of this top. Just saw a small hole in the border strip. The stitching throughout is at 5 stitches per inch. The quilter put a lot of thought into the selections of materials to give the quilt top a great visual look. SALE! Very Old Hand Pieced Sewn Log Cabin Blocks Quilt Top This is very very old. From an estate, not sure of its exact age. This is a great old scrap quilt. Tons of different fabrics. Excellent placement of lights and darks for overall effect! I know there are some civil war era fabrics in it. The outside blue borders have been machine sewed on. Everything else is hand sewn. This is the top only. I don't know if it was ever quilted. There are some gorgeous cheddars. Shirtings, etc in there. There are 5 blocks that have holes. Probably from moths, I have added them and am pointing to the damage in each one, so please look carefully. Those are the last 5 pictures. The family told me that Grandma hand stitched it sometime around the 1930’s. This is a large piece measuring 90” x 102” It is unusual in that 2 corners on one end have a 13” x 13” area that is not filled in. This end fits the end of the bed and becomes a natural slit to drape nicely on the corners. The pattern is 2 rows of yellow Yo Yo’s around the quilt as a border and 2 rows of yellow yo yo’s between each of the 9”x9” squares of print Yo-Yo’s. The 1½” in diameter Yo Yo’s are tightly gathered circles. There are numbers of places where the Yo Yo’s will need to be re-tacked together but no Yo Yo’s ungathered. The Ginko is an Auspicious symbol in Japan representing Good Luck. Sashiko stitching originated in Northern Japan and was used to reinforce jackets during the harsh Japanese winters. It was a basic running stitch that evolved over time to incorporate the artistic. These are hand stitched by me. I first learned of Sashiko stitching while living in Japan and I fell in love with the craft. They are stitched with 100% cotton thread designed for sashiko stitching. The background is an old hapari jacket I took apart and it is 100% cotton. Two of the pieces have a faded mon Family(crest) that adds a special feature to the piece.
