This vintage nautical chart is titled"United States- East Coast. CAPE ROMAIN TO CAPE KENNEDY, from the United States Government charts to 1961. The publishing identification at bottom of chart says: London, Published at the Admiralty, 14TH June, 1963 under the superintendence of Rear Admiral EG Irving, CB, OBE, Hydrographer, crown copyright 1963. Last corrections to 1972. One hand correction to 1974. The chart is 28" x 40.5" 103cm x 70cm) Chart details coasts of South Carolina. Georgia, and Florida from Cape Romain to Cape Kennedy. Chart is in excellent condition. There is some minor wear to the corners of the paper and a little bit of rippling in the left margin near center crease. The very faint reddish hue that may appear in some of the photos is only a reflection from the red sweatshirt I was wearing while taking the photographs. ... moreI assure you it is NOT on the actual chart. The chart has been folded in the middle but it has been so little used that this crease could be minimized by a professional framer. Please look at all twelve photos carefully. As most details, flaws, and publishing info are visible in them. I am happy to answer any questions. Although the author of several works, his fame rests on the highly succesful publication of'A New Geographical, Historical and Commercial Grammar first issued in the year of his death. There were many further editions stretching into the early nineteenth century. Maps were initially supplied by Thomas Kitchin but others contributed after 1788. This map of the West Indies. An interesting older Walt Disney World tin plate. It has a map of Florida with the better known places listed with pictures depicting that area of Florida. Another scene has Disney characters depicted. Shows Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. A Walt Disney Production. Has Walt Disney World sticker on the back. It is in very good condition for its age! There is one 1 1/2" long rubbed area that is not that noticeable when hung. There is a tiny scratch on the black area of the plate that could probably be touched up although I don't think that's necessary to enjoy this plate. It was in my mother's estate. The diameter is 10 3/4 inches.
