Up For Sale a Large Vintage 1950's Italian Bronzed Spinning Globe 3 Ways Floor Table Lamp. Light sockets reads" Underwriter Laboratories. Unmarked Made in Italy. Heavy brass metal bronzed circular feet on wood base with felt cover. Lamp weights about 10 lbs. Measures about 28" up until the light socket plus 13" until the woof finial. Total height about 40" Globe is about 27" circumference. Base is 8" dia. Antiqued wood base. Which appears to be hollow wood and it's able to spin freely. Three brass metal rings meridians and two arrows are painted to look like bronze. Baroque style metal base is also bronzed. Cram's 12" IMPERIAL World Floor Globe on Wood Tripod Stand
This is a Cram 12" IMPERIAL Floor Globe on a Wood Stand. Made by the George F. Cram Co. Indianapolis, Indiana. I believe it to be from the late 1970's or early 1980's as Vietnam does not show a North or South. The globe has a raised, textured relief. It has a metal meridian which is attached to the turned wood spindle base with a screw. The globe spins freely and can be turned upside down in its' gyroscopic mounting. The globe is in excellent condition with strong, non-faded colors. The globe itself is 12" in diameter with a total height of 37" including the base. This estate find floor globe is highly detailed and would make a wonderful addition as an educational tool or a display piece to any home. Up for bids a unique Replogle Stereo Relief Globe. This globe is unique because it will flip on its axis. And you can view the globe upside down. This globe is pre-1960 as west Africa is French West Africa and Russia is Union of Soviet Socialist Republic. Condition is fair. It has fading, it has loss close to the equator. Vtg Italian Old World Globe Rolling Floor Bar Liquor Wine Rack Made in Italy
This is a vintage old world style globe bar(marked Made in Italy on the bottom) It measures roughly 37" tall. It is made of a softer wood material(maybe pressboard? with some type of paper covering the globe with beautiful illustrations. The globe itself spins and the top half flips open(beautiful artwork on the inside top as well) The inside bottom has a tray with compartments to hold wine or liquor bottles. There is an outer ring surrounding the globe that measures 20" wide. The bottom has three wood outer columns(and one two-piece column in the middle) connected to a circular base(measures roughly 14 1/2" wide) with another wood tray above it with openings for bottles(similar to the piece inside the globe) It has three wheels on the bottom so it can be easily moved. It has been previously used and it shows some wear. Most ... moreimportantly. It is missing a nut or other type of reinforcement on the bottom which is connected to one of the middle column pieces. It can be kept this way but the middle section(including the tray) and the globe will wobble without adding a washer and nut to the bottom. Other than that there are some small nicks in the wood here and there, edge wear, a little wear to some of the paper areas on the globe(including a very small tear on one edge) and some marks or gauges in some of the areas near where the screws are placed. The wheels also show wear and have some dust/dirt inside of them. Overall, it is in great shape still. This will be disassembled for shipping and will be fully insured and shipped with FedEx. An Elegant Kittenger Floor Model c 1929 by W& AK Johnston. Ltd. A refined terrestrial floor model with elegant handcrafted details that are the hallmark of Kittenger Globes. The Kittenger Co. Founded in 1866, was an American fine furniture manufacturer who sold reproductions of such quality, that they were equal to the originals and done to museum standards. A number of Kittenger reproductions can to this day be found in the West Wing of the White House, a testament to their craftsmanship. It is this attention to detail and skill that adorns this globe. Here is a vintage Replogle 16" World Classic globe. This globe sits on a solid walnut or teak floor stand with 1 1/2" inch tall brass ends on the legs and the stand is original to this globe. The globe is in excellent condition with very minimal signs of use. The floor stand has some very minor wear here and there. Overall it looks great. Globe stands about 36"37" inches tall. The floor stand by itself is about 27" inches tall x 21 3/4" in diameter. In order to fit this item safely we will have to ship it in two boxes for shipment. This is an unusual frosted or opaque shade or globe. It has light blue on the top and bottom and flowers painted pink. It has a nice raised design with a fluted or lined design and a decorative raised border around the bottom. It is 5 1/4 inches tall. The top opening is 2 1/4 outside and 1 7/8 inches inside diameter. The bottom opening is 4 1/8 inches outside and 3 3/4 inside diameter. The bottom edge has 2 chips on the inside of the ridge. The outside of the glass is still there the chip is inside. It has chipping in the bottom rim and the top rim. Very unique.

Therefore, may have usage marks commensurate with age. In particular, while the Equator Line shows a little wear, the Globe is, otherwise, in Very Good condition. The top wooden ring has white scuff marks around its outer edge, and one of the four knobs is missing, which could be replaced at a hardware store. The bottom wooden ring has some wear on its leading edge and some patches of superficial scratches and scrapes on the top surface. The four aluminum posts show signs of wear. Nonetheless, for the perfectionist, all of these imperfections are easily repairable with sandpaper and steel wool.

Offered in this listing is an incredible and rare vintage globe designed by the great designer. Jens Risom and manufactured by the Replogle Globes Company in Chicago, IL. This is a danish modern masterpice designed in 1961. The globe is 16" in diameter and is mounted in a beautiful teak wood danish modern frame with casters that stands 36.5" tall. The globe lights up as well and is all original. The only flaws are what seems to be glue on paper segments of the globe which appear brown in color, but whn the globe is lit, appear brighter as shown in the photos. Mid Century Modern c1960 Replogle 12" Reference Floor Stand Model World Globe
Up for sale is a wonderful vintage circa apprx 1960 give or take REPLOGLE 12" REFERENCE GLOBE floor model world globe. The globe is in outstanding condition- clean with vivid coloration- wear is minimal. This is about as good as it gets condition wise. The wood on the base appears to be either maple or birch. Not sure to be honest. It is hard to pin point the exact year of manufacture but I can date it approximately. Sierra Leone is still under British control and they gained independence in 1961. The gold coast is now Ghana. Yet the much of Colonial Africa exists- Belgian Congo still listed which I believe dissolved in 1961. To nut shell it is approx very late 50s to ear;y 1960s but hard to be any more precise, atleast for me. I will package in one large box and send fully insured. I am estimating the size and weight of the package ... moreas until I fully package I can only give a ball park on the weight. I WILL SHIP VIA FEDEX. So it can not go to a PO box. Vintage Floor Standing Gemstone World Earth Globe Silver, Lapis, Solid Brass
This vintage world globe is comprised of numerous gemstones indigenous to each country in which they are mined. The majority of the globe is a deep blue color made of lapis lazuli which represent the world oceans. There is mother of pearl. Tiger's eye, turquoise, abalone, jasper, jade, amethyst, quartz, marble which are only a few of the gemstones. These high grade gemstones are genuine and hand cut to precisely fit together while the lapis is only approximately 15% resin reconstituted unlike the less expensive versions now offered. The longitude and latitude lines are done with Silver ribbon while the entire globe's smooth surface was professionally sealed with 10 coats of clear acrylic. This is a true vintage item(pre 1994) and is in excellent condition. This substantial piece measures approximately 33" high x 19-1/2 wide and ... moreweighs approximately 35-1/2 pounds. The Globe its self is approximately 12" in diameter. The metal stand is solid brass in a beautiful Brushed Nickle color with four decorative legs(more expensive than the three legged version of today) with a true working compass sitting below the globe. The compass is black with white numbering and encased in solid 2-1/4" thick 12 sided brass design. You'll always know where true north is! The outer ring surrounding the globe is approximately 1-1/2" thick which enhances the smooth rotation and operation when viewing your favorite destinations. There are no loose fittings due to the excellent metal and workmanship. This stunning globe is masterfully crafted using high grade materials and gemstones and it is said it took artisans approximately 2000 hours to complete each globe. This magnificent vintage floor standing globe is a true collectible which would add a classy, yet functional air to any library, study, office or any room craving cultural depth.
