Up for consideration. Is an old original vintage rare REPLOGIE BLACK OCEAN globe map circa 1940s. This beautiful, vintage globe stands 15" inches tall and features a chrome plated frame and base. The globe is by Replogie, it measures 12" inches in diameter and turns on the frame. In general, the black ocean is more desirable than globes of other color backgrounds. The globe is in near mint condition, showing no wear. The frame and base show slight tarnish, but nothing major. The globe is not dated, but those who know their geography can pin point the date by studying the countries: For example, Russia is labeled USSR, Germany has no East or West, Africa shows old colony names such as Belgian Congo. Ask all questions before purchasing, this is a large item, thus there are no returns.

The kids have had great enjoyment from this gumball machine. I'm sure they've received a couple of cavities from all the gumballs consumed. They are now older. So it is time to sell to someone else for their enjoyment. This is a very nice MINI sweet factory gum ball machine. You will see a lot of full size gum ball machines. Fewer Mini machines and yet fewer black mini machines. This is the sweet factory brand and is labeled on the back of the machine. This is a great machine but please keep in mind that it's used. So it may have a few scratches or smudges but this one is overall in great shape. The one scratch that most of these get is on the plastic receiver cover when it is raised and comes in contact with the metal silver colored front plate. This is not major but I wanted you to know about it. This is a metal machine with ... morea glass globe and a metal top that unscrews and only needs the edge of a slot screwdriver to open it. Even with this style. The machine will accept 25.10,5,1 cents easily. This works but does continue to spin with or without coins. Most of the machines we have need to have a coin inserted to get the candy but this one gives you the option to put money in or not. This looks and works great and when you receive it you will find one single quarter in it that use for final testing to make sure everything works. Cute Mid Century Ceramic TV Lamp! Looks to be homemade and the only marking is"Pat" This lamp is fitted for 5 bulbs and they light up alternately giving it a fun look when turned on. In regards to condition. The cord has been replaced and there are a few small chips that have been covered over with black. One is highlighted in the last picture of this listing. Romanian Mid-century 8” Globe (Globul Pamintesc) Black Bakelite??? stand RARE
This is an 8” world terrestrial globe made in Romania by Globul Pamintesc in the mid to late 1950s(could be older. But I can’t read the country names in Romanian) Overall the condition is very good. There’s a small dent in one ocean and there’s a ragged seam along one longitude line and along the same area of the equator(as shown in the photos) I believe the base may be Bakelite. Though I haven’t tested it. Definitely looks better in person– very cool and rare globe. I’ll be listing several globes from my personal collection. So please keep watching. I hope you can use the buttons! They are"as found" On safety pins for safe keeping. With, a couple of snaps too! They just seem to go with the nice collar pin so I thought it would be fun to include them. I believe the black stone may be onyx but am unsure. The metal looks more like a silver alloy and is not marked in any way. The clasp is really substantial. I supposed they were made that way so they surely wouldn't come off the collar. Please see where the tip of the pin is slightly bent from years of maneuvering the pin away from the clasp. The pin and buttons are examples of beautiful Victorian workmanship. This is a rare black seas 10 inch world globe made by Replogle Globes. Chicago Ill. It’s in very good condition with just some very minor paper loss about 2 ½” x 1/8” around part of the Equator. Overall. The colors are vibrant and crisp. It sits on a nicely shaped metal base(maybe aluminum? and has a full metal ring around the globe. I estimate this globe to be mid 1930s. It shows Machoukuo and Arabia rather than Saudi Arabia– but has Istanbul and Iran. It still shows Ethopia and Somaliland as separate countries. Replogle 10 inch "Clock" Globe - Excellent High Art Deco Style - Black Oceans
This 10 inch diameter Replogle is an interesting globe on several levels. First of all it is wonderful. High deco styling. Secondly, it features Black Oceans. And third and perhaps most unusual, it is a"Clock Globe" that, in the case of this one(and of others) was never intended have a working clock mechanism installed in the base. This piece is from late 1930's to early 1940's: Shows Ethiopia as an Italian possession(until 1941) Burma splits from India in 1937; still shows Siam. From my"Condition Description" Good Condition for age. Much of the equator"tape" is missing along with other small areas of paper loss. Missing clock"tape" on base. Not manufactured to include clock mechanism. Some rust/corrosion on base and meridian/strut support. Still an interesting piece. The condition is pretty ... moreevident from my photos(and I have more upon request) but the piece still displays well and can be a conversation starter. This is a very affordable globe for a new collector- someday you might find one in pristine condition with a working clock but be prepared to pay many times what this. temporary" globe costs. Replogle Starlight Black Ocean Globe, Chrome Frame & Base, Super Nice One 1950s
This really nice globe is a Replogle 12 inch Starlight and it is in excellent condition with little evidence of age or wear. There's no writing on it and the chrome frame goes the entire way around the globe which gives full movement. The chrome base really shines against the black ocean globe for a super look. Of course it's not dated but I think it's from the 1950s not only because of the home I bought it out of but because French West Africa is still on the map and that federation ended in 1960. Black World Globe 12 1/2" Tall Excellent Condition
This is a wonderful black globe. It's in excellent condition and stands 12 1/2" tall. The countries and details are clearly defined and I find no rubs or damage.The base is goldtone metal and has felt on the bottom to protect your furniture. Cost to ship is $8.00.
