Antique Replogle Light up Illuminated World Lighted Library Globe Table Stand
Replogle Glass Lighted Library Globe This Globe will no longer be used by us and is deserving of a good home in its present original condition which is super considering its age. It may look similar to others. But It is an earlier model than most out there. It may be a pre-WW II model. Original finish as pictured. There are a couple extremely tiny chips in the map itself, one up close photo shows its size is as small as a letter in the word Indonesia above it. It would touch up with a marker and would not have to be mentioned, but I want to point out the even the smallest imperfections. If this globe wasn't original and extra nice we wouldn't own it. The finish and teture is crazed as it should be and is still very tight and firm all over. There are some very minor nicks in the wooden stand; none are significant or hurt the piece ... morein value or charm. The crazing in both the wood varnish and the map adds beauty and character to the nature and richness of the globes age. The stand is also very strong and firm and not weak or ever broken or repaired. The original factory paper friction reducer washer on the bottom of the globe between the metal discs Where the light switch is attatched to the harp is still present. It is torn and rather than throw it out we have just kept it there. I plan to ship this in 2 boxes. Stand and globe seperate from each other. The paper is nearly useless and slips back and forth as the globe is picked up or moved so it may slip out slightly when shipped. I can tell you that we consider ourselves to be the very best at boxing up an item so you can be assured it will be very well cared for. Shipping is for the lower 48 states only. This is a neat old Globe marked'8 inch Standard Globe Made by Repogle Globes Chicago. Ill. Clear- Accurate-Up-to-date' Russia is listed as'Union of Soviet Society Republic' and shows Tannu-Tuva and Mongolia. Kasakastan is the same shade of color as Russia. Guessing it is pre-WWII era. It is in good condition with some age darkening and normal age wear. This globe has a paper exterior, not tin. Several photos to give you a good idea of condition. Up for auction is a wonderful big 16" Rand McNally Terrestrial Art Globe. I've dated to some where around the early 1940s I found this wonderful globe without a stand so needs to find a home were someone could provide it with a nice stand. It's in pretty nice overall condition. I took pics of most of all the flaws. One small dent toward the bottom of South America. There is also a spot toward the bottom of Alaska were there are some very small holes punched in to the globe. Someone covered this with a piece of tape. There is also some darkening in areas of the globe. See pics for overall condition. Please ask me any questions before bidding.

Vintage 60's Antique Tan Replogle LeRoy M. Tolman World Classic Series 12" Globe
This globe looks like a new globe because it is in such great condition. However. I believe it is probably 40 to 50 years old. It is a beautiful antique tan in color, rather that the more common bright blue, with attractive pastel pink, turquoise, sage green, and peach colored continents. It is marked"12" World Classic Series Replogle Globe Inc. Made In USA, LeRoy M. Tolman Cartographer" The base is wood and the frame is metal. You have to really search to see any little nicks or scratches. I only saw a couple of very tiny ones. It would look great in a den or family room with brown leather furniture because of its tan color. It stands 17 inches tall and the wood base is 8 inches in diameter. Gorgeous!

wow. This is a treasure and estate find. This little world globe measures a bit over 4 inches tall. It is a Clark& Co. Anchor Machine Cotton thread dispenser. It is paper over wood on a stand. It comes in two pieces and there is a paper label in the top that says Clark& Co. Anchor Sewing Cottons The Best for Hand and Machine Use. There is also a Clark and Co. paper medallion on the outside of the globe. I have pictured the top of the globe where a small bit of the paper is missing-but that is only problem. What a neat piece.

I don't see a copyright date but believe it to be before WW1. Russia is simply Russia. Globe is rather rough with digs. Gouges,scrapes and loss. Stand is cast iron and shows some rust but nothing chipped,cracked or broken on it. Globe is a Weber Costello but the copyright for the map part is G.W.Bacon of London. It stands about 22 1/2" high and is 15 1/8" at the widest. Up for auction is a super rare and amazing antique piece. This is Cram's Terrestrial Globe which is illuminated and lights up. Also amazingly enough comes with its original handbook with geographical index. The handbook is marked"The George F. Cram Company. Inc. Established 1867 Indianapolis 7, Indiana" Directly on the globe it is marked"Cram's Unrivaled Terrestrial Globe 12 Inch" On the back page of the handbook is a paper that lists the model number as 512-WE and has"The George F. Cram Co. 79th year) which brings us to 1946. This little paper in the handbook also indicates that the globe"shows defacto post-WW II boundaries and other changes as follows.and goes on to list the Soviet Socialist Republics that are added and that Siam resumes its former name and is no longer known as Thailand, just as two ... moreexamples of some interesting tidbits. NICE VINTAGE Wood ITALIAN Made OLD WORLD Desk GLOBE 10" Tall; Antique Map
Up for grabs is this unique vintage wood Italian made Old World Globe. This piece stands 10 1/2" tall from bottom to top. And is 6 1/2" wide. Globe is says"Made In Italy" on the bottom. Pretty cool piece even if you can't read Italian. I can't be totally sure what the globe itself is made from. There are also illustrations of sea monsters and ships throughout the oceans and seas. Globe spins on its axis with ease. Very minor wear to be found on the base where there is a couple tiny bumps on one side of the base. You can probably see them if you zoom in on a couple of the pictures. It's not really that noticeable when looking at the piece in its normal position, and is in overall great shape! I found this piece at an old estate sale in the back of a cabinet where it probably sat for a long while. Please ask ... moreany questions you may have before bidding/buying and thanks for looking! Antique/ Vintage Ohio Art Metal Globe with Zodiac base; it is signed Ohio Art DH-174. It stands 9" high. Using the countries shown as a guide. The globe was made between 1935 and 1938. It shows Ceylon, Siam, French West Africa, Formosa, Istanbul. The globe unfortunately has a couple of dings(dimples) also it has a few dark stains and some rust pitting; but everything is legible and easily read; nothing missing or distorted. The globe is on a metal hoop and it does spin fine. Shipping within the Continental US is $9. Other areas please email for shipping cost.
