The globe measures approximately 4 1/2" in diameter. The stand is approximately 5 3/4" square at its base and 4 3/4" tall. The globe is mounted on a wooden ring that fits into the stand to rotate on its axis. The ring is approximately 6" in diameter and 1/2" wide. The stand is notched so that the ring and globe fit into it securely. The globe has a long metal pin that runs through its center allowing it to spin. The globe slightly moves up and down on this pin and it may be necessary to move it very slightly to the center of the pin so that it rotates freely. Please examine the photos carefully so that you get an accurate idea of the globe's condition and what you are bidding on. This globe is really lovely. A terrific piece for the home or office. It measures roughly 20 x 16 x 7 1/2 inches tall. The two drawer fronts measure 8 3/4 x 6 inches. The drawers are 15 inches deep and hold cards up to 5 x 8 inches. The cabinet is in very good as-found condition with just a few inches of veneer damage on the backside. It has not been stained, waxed or re-varnished. A beautiful cabinet with terrific natural aged patina. It will be double boxed and have a shipping weight of 30 pounds. ANTIQUE WHITE PORCELAIN THICK GLASS LIGHTNING ROD GLOBE
We have for your viewing and bidding pleasure an antique lightning rod globe. It is made out of white porcelain thick glass. It is about 5” high by 5” wide. The globe is round in shape. It is in good condition with no breaks or cracks. The glass has swirled markings and a thin mold marking on each side. This is from the making of the globe. Where the rod goes through on one end it is just a little slightly rough with 3 little flake chips and on the other end it has a lot of little flea bite flake chips. Normally when the globe is installed on the lightning rod there is a metal collar that goes around the holes where the lightning rod goes through. We do not have any of those. We do not know for sure but we believe they possibly could be found on the internet. From outside edge to outside edge these holes where the rod goes through measure ... more1 1/8” across. The globe depicts the classic constellations known to the Greeks and Romans and. Item up for sale is a very rare bar globe reproduced after the Galician Globe. I have looked all over to find nearly no info on this item. I beleive it is from the 60s but cannot promise that to be true as I am only comparing it to other items I've seen somewhat similar. This globe splits into 2 and exposes a bar to hide all your drinks and cocktail mixes. also a place for ice. most of the globe is made of wood and also part copper surrounding the globe. Within the ring of the globe is what looks like astrology measurements and order. The language used on this globe is close to Italian or Galician. wow. This is a treasure and estate find. This little world globe measures a bit over 4 inches tall. It is a Clark& Co. Anchor Machine Cotton thread dispenser. It is paper over wood on a stand. It comes in two pieces and there is a paper label in the top that says Clark& Co. Anchor Sewing Cottons The Best for Hand and Machine Use. There is also a Clark and Co. paper medallion on the outside of the globe. I have pictured the top of the globe where a small bit of the paper is missing-but that is only problem. What a neat piece.

antique vintage Paull's Black Railroad Oil lamp lantern with original red globe
This vintage railroad lantern is cute but has some pitting on the bottom so would not hold actual oil today. Great for a decorative piece. No 23-P or 23-0 original red globe with wavy glass. This lantern has been spray painted about 15 years ago and has been up in the attic since then. Stands 12 inches high with a 6" diameter base. Pictures describe the condition well. I have for auction this lovely Illuminating Globe by Scan Globe Denmark dating to 1997. It is an Antique Atlas Globe with historical facts set in the pertaining areas of the various oceans and seas. It is a 30cm globe on a gold colour stand with turned wooden base.As can be seen it is in full working order and looks lovely when lit. There is a small scudge on the area of the Globes Key. But this is not obvious and does not detract. I believe Scan Globe are part of the Replogle company and this is a good quality globe. Beautiful 19th century Bradley& Hubbard electric lamp. The"globe" features a beautiful hand painted floral design. It looks like it came right out of Gone With the Wind! The lampshade is not original(please let me know if you would like it included or not) The lamp looks great but is not in completely perfect condition. The sides of the globe show a bit of wear. Fortunately there is little to no wear on the painted floral designs located on the front and back! Also. There is a stress crack on the base, likely related to it's age. Antique Butler floor model globe
Butler Floor Model World Globe Made by the George F Cram Co. Indianapolis Indiana. It is in very good shape for its age as pictured. It was taken from an old office building that was to be torn down several years ago. I have enjoyed it very much but sorry I don't know the exact age. The globe its self is 16 in across and held by an solid wood stand that is about 22 in across. It is on casters and stands about 33 in tall and can be moved easily. This one does not light and never has. This would make a nice retirement gift or just a nice conversation piece to add to your vintage collection. Here is an old vintage tin from the Globe Soap Company of Cincinnati. Ohio. It is blue and ivory with gold trim. There are naked dancing women- one is holding a basket and another is blowing a long horn. This tin measures 9 1/2" by 8 1/4" by 5 1/2" It is in very good condition with only minor signs of wear. VTG Antique RAND McNALLY 9" TERRESTRIAL GLOBE with METAL STAND Very Nice!!
You are bidding on a vintage Rand McNally 9 inch Terrestrial globe on a metal stand. Both the globe and its stand are in great condition for their age. With some light blemishes in spots from use. Additionally, a bit of the equator sticker is gone, I located a puncture south of the Hawaiian Islands, and there is an area of rust along the edge of the stand. The globe is colored an antiqued off-white/beige and is made to look like ancient parchment. Located around the globe are sketches of famous explorers' ships. I've spent some time looking up various geographic points on the globe, trying to determine its age. As near as I can tell, it dates to the late 1930's. It does not have Israel defined as a state, so pre-1948; it does not have Germany divided between East and West, so pre-1945; it has Istanbul instead of Constantinople, ... moreso post-1930; Persia had been renamed Iran, so post-1935; I cannot locate Austria, which was annexed in 1938; and, finally, Poland looks whole, and it was siezed and split up by Germany and Russia in 1939. Antique Vintage Globe Made in Germany - Candy Container
Up for bid is a vintage. Old globe candy container, I think. It was made in Germany in the early part of the 20th Century, or earlier than that- not sure. It is made of paper and cardboard and has wonderful graphics of the world on it. It is clearly marked"Made in Germany" It is 1 1/2" in diameter and opens up at the equator. Only issue is a small burn mark on the outside which is apparent on the inside as well. Maybe it was used as an ornament on a Christmas tree and got too close to a candle? As can be seen there is a Makers Name to the Globe' THE HUSUN STAR GLOBE H. HUGHES& SON LTD LONDON' The fitted Brass accessories are engraved: THE PAGET STAR GLOBE. H. HUGHES& SON LTD LONDON NO. 1114. All the Brass Lacquer is original. and if decided to Polish the brass would come up extremely niceas all the Numbered and Lettering engravings are clear and easy to read. I think the only fault is that there may be a tiny brass piece missing ... morefrom the very top of the Globe where there is a hole. the Brass piece to the bottom is intact. This is a nice old Exit globe red on white with a red arrow in addition to the Exit on each side. It weighs a heavy 2& 1/4 pounds and is 6& 1/2" from top to bottom including the collar or fitter. No chips. No cracks. It has a 3& 1/4" fitter. Antique Vintage Exit Globe Shade Green With White Letters 4" Fitter Size
One of three different antique exit light shades I have listed right now. This is a nice old Exit globe. Green with white lettering on each side. It weighs 1& 1/4 pounds and is 6& 1/2" from top to bottom including the collar that goes under a metal fitter. It has what appears to be a flaw from the factory on the interior. Shown in pictures# 6,7, and 9) It feels rough to the touch on the inside but the roughness is only on the inside and does not go through. It has a 4" fitter opening. The flaw shows well on the last picture. some of the white coating is missing so in that approximately 1/2" area it appears more clear than green. Anyway. Very good quality, made between about 1870 and 1900 Size: 11 1/2 inches high- about 29 cm Weight: 1269 grammes Condition: very good. No major damage, there are a couple of little nicks on teh edge of teh rim and a couple of tiny bruises on teh body- these are not obvious. There is light wear on the base. It is not cloudy inside, but has some white residue in the bottom- I haven't tried cleaning this. see the photos. It has a Daisy& Button and Fans design with Beaded Edges. It measures 7" tall and 4 1/2" wide complete. The set consists of the glass stand holder, 2 shakers and 1 mustard or pickle bottle. The lids are in as found condition, they show lots of wear, the mustard pickle lid top is loose. This is an unusual set, the stand has small pegs that the bottles fit into, see photos. The set is in good condition but used, it is 100+ years old. The edges of the base bottles have some small chipping but nothing big or bad. I have shown the damage in photos below. Antique Racine WI Pure Milk Company Print Under Glass w Baby and Globe
This 6" by 8" photo print under glass is in very good condition. It is not discolored or stained in any way nor is the paper wavy or distorted. It was sealed around the edges by black paper tape of some sort. A tiny portion is missing from the right hand side which I photographed.
