This Macbeth Monax school house style globe is presented for auction today. It is inscribed with the etched mark that reads as follows: U.S.A. Pat. Jan. 6. 1920 Macbeth Monax Made in U.S.A. This Lime Green and White globe is 7& 1/2 inches in depth. 9 inches in diameter at the ceiling and 7 inches at the bottom of the globe. The opening is 3&1/2 inches in the inner ring and the top most opening is 3& 3/4 inches. The side coloration is pinstriped with a blue stripe at the top and black pinstripe at the bottom of the side design. LARGE Antique Glass Street Globe - GE Novalux - Industrial Light - Vintage Lamp
Available here is an antique street globe made by General Electric. This comes in four different pieces. The fitter looks to be made of heavy cast metal. Not sure what kind. It has a beautiful ornate design on it. The original GE tag is still attached and is labeled"Novalux" All three screws are still in holding the shade in. In the picture with the tag, you can also see the GE logo in the glass. The opening at the base measures 3-5/8" That is from inside to inside. The large shade is two pieces. The glass has a very nice textured design. There is a bottom and top part. Each with a different design. I am not sure how they are attached, but they are not loose. I have been told that the finial screws in at the top and secures the two pieces together. There are three holes in the top piece that looks like screws are supposed to ... morego in, although I am not sure. The glass looks to be in good condition. I can find no chips or cracks. The finial is on top. This measures approximately 30" from bottom of the fixture to tip of the finial. The shade is approximately 13" across in the largest section and 9" around the fitter lip. It appears that the original industrial/commercial socket is in the fixture. Although I have not taken it apart. It should probably be rewired. This will be disassembled for shipping. VINTAGE ANTIQUE COLEMAN QUICK LITE DOUBLE MANTLE LANTERN MICA GLOBE
Vintage COLEMAN two mantle Quick Lite lantern with the mica globe. All but two of the mica sections are ok. There is some light oxidation here& there along with a couple dents that should show up in the pictures. The bottom is in real good shape. I had pumped this up about two years ago& when I unscrewed the fill cap I could hear pressure releasing so I believe it holds pressure quite well. Everything that should move does move. Other than that I have not tested it.

Today I am offering an unusual globe for auction. It has an etched mark which reads as follows; U.S. Pat. Jan. 6. 1920 Macbeth Monax Made in U.S.A. This mark is found on the base of the globe. It measures 8 inches in depth, 4&1/2 inches at the pinacle of the globe graduating in size to 10 inches with a 3& 1/4 inch opening. This is a solid globe that weighs 3 pounds. It is decorated with a simple yet sophisticated green pin stripe around each step. The condition of the globe is excellent. Antique tin Skater's Lantern w/ original Cobalt Blue glass globe & wire bail
A wonderful little genuine antique tin skater's. Skaters lantern, lamp with the original old Cobalt blue glass globe. Tin parts have a nice patina. It does look like there has been a little polishing or cleaning to the tin at some time as ther are some light polish marks like from fine steel wool around the base and bottome perforated part but nothing severe and looks nice. There is a little light surface rust on the wick adjustment wheel but nothing serious or deep. A very minor light dent or two in the perforated vent lid and a little waviness or wiggle to the tin on one of the narrow strips connecting the cneter vent hold with on of the outside ones but all are minor issues on old tin like this. The blue glass globe has some factory mold lines typical of old glass like this and these are what you want to see on old glass to verify ... moreits age. One is a horizontal line and another is a sideways V shaped area and there is a little interior flaw area below it that looks like there might be a small sliver or flake from maybe a bubble pop or something. Most listers would probably just say it has typical factory mold flaws and irregularities and leave it at that, but I wanted to specifically point out what you might see in photos and make sure to point them out even though they are not bothersome and barely visible unless looking for them or holding it up to light. The globe leans a little bit to one side probably due to the top plane of the base where it screws on not being perfectly level but this only adds to its character and charm. If it bothers you can just turn it and view from different side where it stands straighter. Only thing it doesn't have is a piece of wick, which is no big deal as that would be an ongoing replacement item anyway and should be easy to find the correct size and shape of wicking. Stands about 6-1/2" tall not counting the original wire bail handle. TERMS OF SALE- PLEASE READ ALL CAREFULLY- It is all important and will save problems later. Vintage set of 2 Antique Embossed Glass Ceiling Hanging Globe Shade frosted tan
You are bidding on a matching set of two hanging brass ceiling light fixtures. They each hang from the ceiling from a brass bell shape that is 4 1/2" wide at the ceiling. The bell is attached to a chain before it comes to the brass part that hooks on to the glass. This fitter is 5 1/4" on the outside and it hangs 31 inches from the ceiling. The glass shades fit into the brass fitter and are five inches across at the base. The shade is wider at the top- almost like a heart. The embossing across the shade is heavily embossed and has a victorian look. The shade is 9 inches from top to bottom. So the whole light is about 40 inches from the ceiling, total. The shade is about 10-11 inches wide. These are fairly large globes. Please see the pictures for a true description. They are truly beautiful. They were removed from the family area ... moreof an old funeral home. The brass needs to be cleaned, they have paint spots on them. The cords are cloth covered so you might want to rewire the fixture before using them. They were working when placed in storage a couple of decades ago! A very old Coleman Quick Lite with mica globe. Overall. Good condition for it's age. The mica shade has a break at one seam and has a few spots where it is lifting. The panel that lifts to light is broken, as well. The top is dented in where the shade fastens down. There is no dents, dings or scratches in the tank but there is some discoloration of the chrome. The lamp measures approx. 14" tall.

This lantern was made by the C.T. Ham Mfg Co. Which opened in 1886. In 1915, the company was sold to the RE Dietz Co, and C.T. Ham Co. was closed. This lantern is marked C.T. Ham Mfg Co, Rochester, NY USA, No. 2-17-20& 22 COLDBLAST. The lantern globe is a Dietz"Fitzall" globe, No 4H, LOC-NOB, Rec in USA. In 1918 the LOC-NOB ears were added to the globes. Antique Pre 1920s Rayo No. 22 Cold Blast Lantern Reflector Dietz Blizzard Globe
This is a fantastic old Rayo No. 22 Cold Blast lantern from pre-1920s. It is a cold blast dash lantern. With bail handle, a brass burner, with dark red paint remaining on the back of the rear reflector and the bottom of the lantern. There is a rear reflector and spring to hold against the dashboard(wall) front of a buggy. The reflector for attaching to the buggy or auto increased candlepower. Rayo was the trade name of lighting items distributed by Standard Oil Company. The inside of the tank is nice and shiny(see pic) The Dietz glass is marked R20, March 10-14, Blizzard, LOC-NOB, New York, U.S.A. Don't miss this great old lantern!
