Vintage 1964 Syroco Large Cupola Design Wall Clock with Rooster Weathervane
Just the right touch of country charm is this large vintage wall clock manufactured by Syroco. Inc. The clock designed to look like an old shuttered barn cupola complete with rooster weathervane is made of sturdy heavy duty poly-resin material with a deep rich wood grain finish. Measures approx. 21 inches tall and 15 inches across with a 3.25 inch depth. This clock has an open face and the hands move freely and keeps great time. The back of the clock has the original Syroco instruction information as well as the original clock mechanics that is stamped Electro Made in Germany. The clock runs on one“C” size battery and keeps great time but does need to be kept balanced much like that of a pendulum clock. The back of the clock reads Syroco MCMLXIV Made in the USA 4982.

Antique Cast Iron Lightning Rod / Weathervane Arrow Amber Glass w Globe Ends 20"
I purchased this Lightning Rod Arrow with Amber Textured Glass Tail Insert at a farm estate sale here in rural WV. It is a cast metal probably cast iron and has ornate decorative work. The glass ball had been broken years before and the farmer had tied the ends for the glass ball onto the arrow so I left them. They are some sort of light metal and one has a bend but can be straightened. The arrow measures 20" and I see no damage other than some oxidation and light scraping.

Neat old and original 1920's hollow bodied metal Cow weathervane. Weather vane is on a cast iron front. Old cow still has some of the old original gold paint still on it. look closely at the head photos. Whole weathervane is 32 inches long. The hollow bodied steel metal cow measures 15 inches long. 9 inches tall and 1 1/4 inch thick. Cow has two ouches. One is a rusted hind hoof and the other is a bullet hole through the belly. Rare Copper Boat Weathervane Antique Westport River Mass.
Original Antique Copper Weathervane. This is not a reproduction. This weathervane was modeled after a fleet of boats which plied the coastal waters of New England. The fleet was owned by a Westport. Ma. man who lived at Westport Point. This Weathervane was a fixture of Westport Point and was blown off his house during a storm in 1948. The Weathervane came from a gentleman in his 90's that has owned it for decades. He gave the information of its history. He resides in Fall River Ma. which is the next town over from Westport. It is completely intact with no loose or missing parts other than the base of the weathervane. The hole in the base is solid in can be mounted on a rod with a base for display. This an original antique weathervane. The photos make it look new. But its not. It was cleaned many years ago by the previous owner and stripped ... moreof its green outdoors patina. It is much darker than in the photos. It has been displayed inside on a music stand post for over 40 years. This is why it does not have the green weathered look that you think it should have. Look closely at the photos and you can see the way it is made, and all of the wear and small dents from years of being exposed to the elements. The flash of the camera makes the copper shine and look bright. Green patina can be removed with cleaners. It is what it is and it is old. Do not miss out on this one as it is one of a kind. Offered is a nice old pierced tin weathervane or lightning rod directional arrow dating ca. the 1920’s or 1930’s. The arrow. Which appears to be handmade, measures approx. 16.5 inches in length from tip of arrow to flat side of the“feathers” The point of the arrow and the“feathers” each measure approx. 3.25 inches from top to bottom margins. The weathervane arrow spins freely on its original iron rod. The rod has been mounted on an old pine board base for display. You may remove the base if you wish. The painted pine board measures approx. 17 by 4 inches and is approx. 7/8 inch thick. Condition of the directional arrow is good, having light surface oxidation, as shown.

REVISED Set of 3 Fancy Scroll Lightning Rod Weathervane Farm Barn REVISED
Here we have for sale a very nice set of 3 fancy scroll style lightning rods. Here's what you get 3-18" all aluminum noninsulated scroll stands. 3- all aluminum 32" twisted star rods. There's a 4th. rod with a split two piece ferrule but no stand. Note added 2-3-2014. This 4th rod is no longer included. Look at the way the rods spiral with a taper. Forming their tips. Quite unusual indeed. Each rod has it's twp piece cast aluminum T- clamp for connecting to the ground cable. You also get 3- 4-1/2" plain round glass balls. These each have a pink cast to them. Collars are good and there's no cracks or bb damage. No caps, I kept em. You get everything pictured, except the single rod with ferrule. These would be excellent to put back on a roof or put them in your collection. If you want. Vintage Large 39" Weathered Copper WHALE Weathervane with Directionals & Ball
This is a very interesting item from an estate sale- a large WHALE weather vane. It is 39" long. Based upon the green weathering. I am fairly certain it is copper. It looks like it has been repaired a number of times in the past- the tail is crimped and a good portion of the bottom seam has been soldered- looks like it fell off a roof a few times in its history! It also includes a heavy set of directionals as well as a copper ball.The directionals are 22" across. This weathervane has a really great amount of character!

Beautiful Copper EAGLE Weathervane ~ Fiske or Jewell ? ( Not Washburne )
I do not know who the maker of this Weathervane is. But I believe it has some age to it. I purchased it from an Antique Shop quite some time ago. The Eagle measures about 24" wingspan. And 19" tall including ball and post. It is in real nice condition, solid, no holes, etc. from hunters. The Eagle is essentially the same color all over. Antique full-bodied horse weathervane - late 19th century
Beautiful and rare late 19th century weathervane. More often. You will find this form with a jockey which makes this a rarer find. Probably a W. Fiske but no maker marks. Comes with original full directional with untouched surface. The horse is 31" in length and approximately 4" at the widest point. I found this gem in Vermont back in the 90's. Vintage Copper Brass Star Weathervane Lightning Rod Painted Patina Directionals
This is a large new solid copper weathervane. It is very large. Just the star part alone is 34in long(the arrow) and 27 inches tall. Add the pole. Decrotive balls and direction it gets even taller over 40 inches! This is beleived to be made by Weathervanes of Maine a couple decades ago. It has always been in a box and never used outside. It has only been displayed indoors a short time. The star, directionals, and balls are all solid heavy copper with a painted on patina. Some small and minor areas you can see the bright copper through the paint. The rod and stand are solid iron. The pole that holds the weather vane is easily expandable to with another rod to make it even taller. This weathervane is compatiable with almost any weathervane stand. Here we have for sale a very nice victorian era iron lightning rod. Lightning rod is made of twisted iron with brass fittings. Rod is 41" long with a nice big 10" brass bayonet. Rod has the bottom clamp. Bottom female fitting is stamped St. Louis L.R.Co. St. Louis. Mo. Stand is the standard style and measuers 24" tall. It is the insulated style with 2 white porcelain double collar style insulators. No damage to these. Real nice looking old lightning rod indeed. Copper Vintage Weathervane CRICKET, N,S,E,W w/ STAND
This lot is for a copper cricket weathervane. It was purchased over 25 years ago and never installed on top of a house. Instead it sat on a porch in the summer among the flowers. This weathervane has a nice patina. The base even more so. The cricket measures 24" L x 12 1/2" H x 3" at the widest. The cricket has green eyes. Not sure if they are glass or a resin. As you see in the first photo. It is 43 1/2" tall. There is a copper stem(pole) that inserts inside the cricket. There is the issue. It does not fit properly. Not sure if a fitting came off. Or if the seam under the cricket is too wide for the pole. CRICKET sits on his own, if you prefer to use him alone and not on the weathervane.
