Antique Vintage 'Republic' Sink Drain/Tailpiece Assembly & Controls 1920's
Here is an old'Republic' sink drain/tailpiece assembly that was removed from a sink that dated from 1920. I've included a photo of the sink that it was taken from for reference. It was so badly cracked that it was beyond saving(see final pic) There is no sink included, this is for the tailpiece assembly and control parts only. The plating is worn and missing on almost every component. Though the metal is in good shape. The waste control knob is marked'cold' and is an obvious repair. Antique Vintage Plumbing Part Sink Tub Spout 'J.D. Johnson Co.' 1920's
Here is a neat old spout that was removed from an old tub that dated from the 1920's. Though this could be used as a spout for almost anything. The nipple threads into the end of the spout and can be easily removed, please note that there are gouges in the nipple(see pics) This also comes with a matching escutcheon, as shown installed in the second photo. The plating is worn and lightly scuffed in spots from years of cleanings. The escutcheon also has a spot where the plating is missing from a long-term leak. All components are brass. The inlet looks to be beveled on the inside. And the thread on the outside is an unusual size so you may need to be creative to connect this to your plumbing. The fact that it's solid brass makes soldering a possibility in case the threads don't match anything else. Up for sale is this 1930 double drain board"Standard" sink. The sink is approx 60" wide at widest by 22" front to back by 13 1/2" high. The backsplash is 12" and the lip is 1 1/2" The sink is 80+ years old with its original porcelain and has been used. It shows signs of wear and tear. Sm nicks, chips, etc etc. There were a few cosmetic chips repaired here and there around the perimeter but all in all the sink is in very good condition overall. The faucet holes are 8" on center. This is one awesome. Very old, cast iron porcelain sink. It sits on two large, also porcelain, cast iron brackets and displays wonderfully. The sink is 26" wide and 19" deep, but the brackets make it stick out from the wall another inch. Vintage 6 Foot Cast Iron Porcelain Double Drain Sink 25"x72" Pick Up Only
This is available for pick up here only as it is too heavy to ship and I am not dealing with the freight companies. Weight is probably 200 lbs or better. It was made by American Standard Radiator in Louisville on 10/6/1941 with a stamped size of 25" x 72" Bowl is in the center of it and is 20 1/2" wide by 18" deep at the top and then rounds out to the bottom to 18" deep by 15" wide. Depth from top to bottom is 7" Faucet holes are just under 1 1/2" diameter and 8" on center. Back splash is about 8 1/2" to 9" above the drain boards. Condition is excellent with some minor scratches and a few small pits to the porcelain on the left hand side edge. These 6 foot ones are one of the hardest to find and you can't buy a new one of this quality for $1000.00 I've sold several over the past ... moreyears with the last couple going down along the Chesapeake Bay and they are using them for fish cleaning stations. Vintage antique cast iron sink small bathroom lavatory white NB Works w/ bracket
This adorable little sink came out of our 1930s/40s vintage log cabin in Maine. It might have been original- the cabin had plumbing from the beginning. According to the plans. But- we really don't know for sure how old it is. It is white enameled. And heavy cast iron. The size is perfect for a powder room or half bath- very petite, yet the bowl is big enough to wash in. Nice back apron design, but deck mount faucets mean that replacements will be much easier to find. The faucets- what's left of them- are included. Sadly, the faucets do not have handles. They are very heavy faucets, but we don't know for sure if they work(plumbing was turned off when we bought the place; supposedly the previous owner used the sink) Sink and bracket are marked"NB Works. USA" Bracket is heavy-duty and in great shape. The sink could use ... morere-enameling. We don't see any cracks that look like anything major- it appears to just have surface(enamel) cracking/wear. One very cool thing: the small ring that would attach to a plug is still attached. Here is a suite of metal cabinets that were removed from a 1950's-era kitchen. Made by'American Kitchens' There is a sink with base, as well as(5) upper cabinets in different sizes. These will need a bit of work to be refinished, as there are some dents and rust present. The sink top is a stamped steel piece(not cast iron) with a porcelain enamel finish. All of the cabinets have a wood-grain contact paper on them, though it does peel off! The sink base is rusty where ... morethe water supply/drain was located. And the kick has some glue residue from the old rubber moulding that was removed. One of the doors is badly dented and one of the drawers has a slight ding(see pics) The porcelain is in decent shape except for a small rust spot and a spot of missing enamel in one of the basins(see pics) The faucet trim is slightly pitted, and the spout looks like a replacement. There is no sprayer, the hole is plugged(see pics) The valves open and close freely. One of the upper cabinets also has a slightly bent door. But the rest are straight. There is also a small flourescent light that's included that attaches to the underside of the smallest cabinet(it was directly over the sink) All of the upper cabinets have adjustable shelves. This sink is in very good condition with a few minor imperfections and very little water calcium buildup. It has the original chrome plated knobs. Basin fitting, and pop-up assembly. The measurement of the sink is approximately 22" wide and 18" in depth. The porcelain and chrome fittings are in near perfect condition. The chrome legs are in good condition with minor blemishes. Up for sale is this 1939"standard" double basin farm sink in great condition. The sink is approx 51" wide at widest by 25" front to back by 12" high. The apron is 6" and the back splash is 6" total.The basins are 21" x 16" There is a super deep basin on the left at approx 12" deep and the right is 6" deep. The outside faucet holes are 8" o/c and are standard size and will include the new drains. The sink set is 70+ years old with its original porcelain and has been used. It shows signs of minor wear, sm nicks, chips, scratches, etc etc. but overall is in very good shape. Original sinks in this condition are few and far between.
