1970's Vintage Dry Sink Farmers Brass Latches Americana Country Beautiful Patina
Really beautiful vintage 1970’s dry sink/ farmer’s sink with rich patina and original brass latching hardware and interior shelves. This was in my mother’s house since purchase. For 40+ years. It does have a basin area(the basin is made of dark plastic) so it was never used as an actual dry sink, but rather as a display piece with her other antiques in her Americana country décor home. It is in beautiful condition(a bit dusty) with a few dings and a few marks on the lid(shown) that are part of the patina of the piece. My guess is that those could be sanded with 0000 grit steel wool and restained to hide them if you wished. It is all original and works perfectly, all the latches and hardware are intact. The fridge is about 3-4 inches tall and about 2-3 inches wide. The stove and sink are made together as one piece. It is about 2 inches tall and about 3 inches wide. They are in played with condition. There are signs of wear and they are not perfect. They have no marking on them so I have no idea how old they are. They look similar to those make in the 50's and 60's but this is just a guess. Next to the sink the plastic is warped some and there are scratches from play. Please look at the many pictures I have provided as they give you the best idea as to the condition of this item. OLD VINTAGE CONCRETE SINK SINGLE BOWL LAUNDRY FARMHOUSE WASH BASIN
I listed this as used but I don't think it ever has been. It has no chips or cracks. There is metal on the top edge probably to protect it from chipping. The left side and the front are painted green. It's in excellent shape. The sink itself is 2 1/2 feet long. It is 24 inches wide and 13 and three-quarter inches deep. The drain hole is one and a half inches. The concrete is 1 1/4 inches thick. Total height with the metal base is 31 and three-quarter inches tall. The metal base itself is 42 inches wide and 14 inches tall. I don't think the sink is attached to the base I think it's just sitting on it. The metal base is a rusty but it appears to be in pretty good condition. It has been sitting in my basement for over 25 years and I'm not sure how long before that. I'm listing my pink tin toy kitchen set. I've had these displayed for many years in our Non-Smoking home but need to downsize my collection. I've shown all the pieces with an Ellowyne Wilde doll who is 16" tall. These also look great with Gene dolls. These are from the late 1950's. Early 1960. My mother-in-law had pink appliances in her kitchen in 1959, when their house was new! Wolverine made in U.S.A. Pink sink cabinet is about 11" tall to the backsplash and 9" to the sink. And 11" wide. Lower door opens and shuts. There are some scuffs and dents, I took photos of every side, top and bottom. It has its water tank or resevoir. Water is gravity fed through the spout into the sink. Nice cast iron white porcelain 30" farm sink. The porcelain has scratches. Scuff marks, There is one medium sized chip on the front lip. The basin is stained, and there are a few spots were the porcelain has wore a little thin. There are some pock marks and flea bites in random spots across the porcelain as well as around the outside edge. Overall it is in good usable condition for its age. Measures approx: 30"wide X 18"depth X 13"tall. Basin is 25" X 13 1/2" X 5"deep, The faucet mounting holes are 1 1/4" in diameter and are 8" apart on center. This sink is for local pickup only. This is a wonderful old wall- mounted sink that we were going to put in a small renovated bathroom but decided not to use it. It would be great for a"side sink" in a kitchen. Antique Bathroom Corner Sink - Cast Iron w/ vintage faucets - used, functional
This is an original. Vintage antique corner sink that we just took out during a bathroom renovation. I have no idea of the info on it, as it was in the house when I bought it, and is probably older than I am. The sink does not have any indication of its exact age- there's nothing on it to indicate its origin, except the number"32" embossed on the bottom of it. I am fairly certain that it's over 50 years old, and may be as old as my house, which is 85 years old. The sink is fully functional and was in use up to its removal. It includes two original vintage faucets. Which look to be some kind of brass with old style"hot" and"cold" buttons on the top. The body of the faucets looks silvery, but the spouts have been rubbed down to a brass-like finish, probably just from age. The top is in very good shape. ... moreAnd could definitely be polished/cleaned up to look very nice. The pipes at the bottom have some rust on them, but also work fine. See photos for details.
