Vintage Art Deco school store ceiling light fixture beehive milk glass shade
For sale is a vintage art deco metal school store ceiling light fixture with an awesome milk glass shade. It is a vintage light but is new since it still is in the box it was bought in and has never been installed. It has been stored in the attic for many years and the lady discovered it and sold it. The fixture with shade measures about 12 inches down from ceiling and about 9 inches wide at widest part. The fitter of the fixture measures about 4 1/4 inches and the opening on the shade is about 4. The fixture is metal painted a very dark brown almost appearing black and a white section holding fitter to canopy. It is in excellent condition. The fixture has a new bulb holder and the original wiring that is in good working order. The wiring does appear to have dried out some and is a little brittle being on the attic so long. For sale is an awesome vintage Moroccan style brass pendant swag ceiling light fixture with stained glass inserts. The stained glass panels are textured glass of blue.Amber, and clear( beautiful) The fixture measures about 27 inches long from top of fixture to bottom of point on the fixture and about 9 inches wide at widest part. The fixture is connected to a 13 foot chain and a electrical cord that is about 16 feet long. There is a switch on the cord. This gives you plenty of length to hang it where ever you wish and be able to reach an outlet. The wiring appears to be newer and does not in my opinion need to be replaced. For sale is a vintage 1930 1940 school house industrial ceiling light fixture pendant light. The fixture hangs down from the ceiling about 50 inches. It could be easily shortened by taking out links in chain and shortening wire or it can be extended down further for those who have very high ceilings since there is another additional 32 inches of wire that extends past the canopy. Just add the desired length of links and you won't have to rewire since the extra wire is already attached. It has a great art deco milk glass shade that measures about 9 inches tall and about 12 inches wide at widest part. It has a six inch opening and is in great shape without any cracks and only minor flea bites along the edge of opening(see pictures) Very minor and does not interfere with the beauty of function of item since it fits inside the shade holder ... moreand is not seen. The shade holder and canopy are solid brass with a shiny finish(I don't think it is lacquered and will age to a beautiful antique brass finish over time. The lamp currently takes the larger socket bulb which gives off a lot of light but if you need it to take normal size bulbs, no problem. As seen the lamp hangs 37” down from the ceiling with a 16” diameter across the diameter of the cage.

This is a such a fantastic find. This is an antique Arts& Crafts hammered copper wall fixture light. It has a amber glass cylinder inside a wire cage. It measures 13 1/2" overall, sticks out 7 1/2" from the wall, the cage is 4 1/2" diameter. This is authentic and genuine, it has been outside it looks like and has a great dark patina. It may have been repaired on the top of the cone roof of the cylinder, not really sure about that. Also looks like one of the wires was soldered at one time. The glass has a natural flawed appearance, not sure what it is actually called. I don't think we will be able to remove the glass cylinder for shipping as the nuts and screws are rusted tight. The lamp is heavy and very well made. There is an impressed mark on the underside of the base that looks like it reads: MADE IN BELGIUM. It measures in total 1 foot 10 inches high. The marble portion is about 1 foot 3.5 inches high and the lamp is 6 inches wide at the figural heads. I would date the lamp to be 100 +/ years old. There is a glass ball dangling from the bottom with plastic beads. The top is clear glass and it does work as shown in the pictures. I used flickering candle bulbs for that mood lighting affect. It is a mid sized chandelier at 16" across and 16" tall. It hangs down about 20" and would be good for that smaller sized dining room. I am not sure of the age of this, but it does have cloth covered wiring. The base mount plate is 4 1/2" across and comes with the mounting bracket. There are some fine cracks in the brass skirt, they are in the pictures and are not very noticeable. This large ornate all brass 6-arm light fixture dates from the late 1800's1900. Fixture has a large round brass ball body with a smaller lower ball and finial. Large cast brass leaf cluster on lower body with a larger matching cast brass leaf cluster assembly above the body section. Large brass canopy. Six reeded brass arms with nice cast brass backarms. Each arm has 2 brass leaf clusters; one at end of arm and one above sockets. Fixture has 6 pull-chain sockets and newer 2 1/4 in. shade holders(see pics) Fixture is in as found working condition. Has been restored(polished and rewired) sometime in the distant past. Metal straight with some areas darkening from lacquer wear and loss. Vintage 30's Art Deco Pressed Glass Ceiling Light Fixture Chandelier LARGE 16.5"
zipedit] Description• This large and elegant 4 light vintage victorian art deco ceiling light fixture chandelier is from the early 1930's. And one of my favorites from the era. In beautiful condition, the thick pressed glass shade measures an impressive 16.5" wide, has an ivory exterior finish, accented with 18 vertical rows of raised graduated bubbles. It has a long tapered pressed glass stem on a glass base and bobeche with 5 substantial antique crystal prisms. The ceiling canopy has been refinished to match the original color, has a vintage glass cover, and all hardware is antique brass. The shade is capped with a solid brass finial with a large 1.75" faceted crystal ball prism. This is an outstanding period light that is equally impressive lit or unlit and it's important to note when you look closely at my lights, you ... morewill never see raw pipe showing through the glass stem or body. The fixture has been updated with new wiring. A new 4 socket cluster, 60 watt maximum bulbs and includes all necessary hardware for installation. The shade has been beautifully preserved. No chips or cracks and the finish is pristine. It measures a large 16.5" wide x 22" from ceiling to the bottom of shade. And can be adjusted to any length you need. The thick square glass shade has a classic starburst pattern with large clear candlewick beading around the rim. It has a matching clear pressed glass center stem& chrome plated replacement ceiling canopy. This has a 2 light fixture that has been rewired with a new 2 socket cluster. 60 watt maximum bulbs, and includes all necessary hardware for installation. The entire light is in excellent vintage condition with no chips. Cracks or issues. It measures 11.5" wide, 15" from corner to corner and hangs 15" from ceiling to bottom of shade.
