Very Nice Vintage “Our Own Hardware” Deluxe #D4356 Fishing Casting Reel
It’s used. Very clean and works just fine. Made for the famous Our Own Hardware of Minneapolis, Minnesota. I’ve seen others with the Our Own Hardware logo that actually came in a tin can container. Very neat. I don’t know if this model was one of those. There are no scratches, scrapes or rub marks except for a tiny bit of boat rash on the top side. It’s hard to spot and almost insignificant. Vintage Shimano Deore DX BR-M650 Front & Rear Brake Set - Complete with Hardware
Vinta ge Shimano canti brakeset from a 1992 model bicycle that did not show signs of excessive use or neglect. Both sets show low wear and no crash damage. Includes brake arms. Mount ing bolts. And brake cable attachment straddle. Pads show minimal wear. But they are cracked and dr y rotted. New. U nused(but unpackaged) pads will be included for the front and rear. In the last photo. You will see that one dust cap is damaged where the tension spring mounts to the bike's brake post. Its corre sponding arm(same photo. Top) has an abrasion at its ti p. Vintage Shapleigh Hardware D-E premium Stockman Knife ~ 4" ~ Cracked Ice scales Description: This is a 4" closed. 3-blade Premium Stockman model C842, an original Shapleigh Hardware Co, St. Louis,Mo. knife. The handle scales are Cracked Ice Celluloid, with no shrinkage. All blades bear the"Shapleigh Hdw. Co. stamp with the D-E enclosed in a diamond logo. The Diamond Edge logo was used between 1888-1940. And possibly until the end in 1960. Keen-Cutter was introduced in 1940. A good early example of the Premium Stockman. The blades have been well sharpened down from their original size. I would say that the main blade is about 3/8" short of full length, with the two secondary blades being well used, but closer to full length. This knife has nickel or steel liners. Check out that center liner on the backspring photo#5. You ... morecan see that the liner has a crimped/scalloped or hand-filed fancy edge to it, a very nice extra touch, indicating the care with which this knife was made. The knife is tight with no wobble. The blades are fairly lazy with not much snap left to them. The medallion on the celluloid scale is pocket-worn until the D-E logo is all but obliterated. Up for auction are four matching metal antique Victorian era hardware furniture pulls recently found at auction in the Lancaster County. PA area. They are offered in good used condition and feature a nice cartuche form and retains original screws in two of the four pieces. A cleaner pull is on one piece, but one with the original patina is included. This is what was found and all will be included to the winning bidder. The backing is tin and the pull is brass. The backings are approximately 1 3/4" in diameter. Pulls extend approximately 2" from the backing. A very nice find, great for reuse on any piece of furniture or to be repurposed on any steampunk style project. I have an unusual pressed or stamped. Nickel plated steel lot of 8 old door latches for your consideration. These could be in nice reusable condition with a little cleaning and lube. All the springs seem to be intact and work. A little sticky on a couple. I am uncertain of there age although my guess would have been from a wooden built in cabinet or cupboard door from the late 20's early 30's. They have a deco pattern on handles. Nicely, these appear to have had a flush strikeplate application so you will be able to find something that would work more easily. Might be a nice addition for a reworked piece of furniture or cabinet/cupboard door. measure 1 7/16 inches from ctr to ctr of mounting screw holes. Painted navy blue on the outside. It features wrap around decorative brass hardware on the top and bottom edges of the trunk itself and on the four corners of the top, please refer to photos for detail. There are two wide decorative brass bands running up the front of the trunk and the lid, across the top of the lid, and down the back of the trunk, all held in place with tiny brass nails. The lid is hinged in the back, all hardware is brass. The front lid features two brass tabs which fold down onto the locking pins. Going through the locking ... morepins are a pair of Japanese locks, very rare nowadays, but popular on storage trunks in the 1920's and 30's. The locks themselves are solid brass, a collector's item in themselves- we have chosen to offer them with the trunk, as they came to us at auction with the trunk. The key is included, will be in a separate envelope on the outside of the trunk. There are two side handles mounted on brass circles, please see photo. The inside is roomy, unpainted wood, no tray, in very good shape. This would make a wonderful storage chest for quilts and blankets, kept at the foot of a bed. This item was purchased at an Estate auction.This is a very rare vintage Snow White ice box refrigerator. Enamel covered. It is a large refrigerator, and is 32" wide, 16" wide(with 2" handles included) and 50 1/2' tall. The larger compartment for food is 13" by 16" and 36" tall. Lower compartment under ice chamber for frozen foods is 12" by 16" and 10" tall. The ice compartment is 12" by 16" and 23" tall(drain tube runs down lower unit and out the bottom) The footed legs are about 8" tall under item. For the most part, this item is in really good condition. There are a few sections of enamel missing, and a little rust in places(please make sure to look at photos closely) All of the hardware(handles, latches and hinges) are all on the item, and all function just fine. I think that these are hardware for holding carpet runners in place on a stairway. You would need a curved piece of metal that would fit in the curved opening and hold the carpet firmly in place at the back end of the stair tread. They may be something else or be used for other purposes. You be the judge. They are each 3/4 of an inch wide and would stick up and out about 1 3/4 inches. TWO Vintage Cast Iron Heat Vent Air Register Grates Antique hardware
Up for auction are 2 antique cast iron register grates. These were both used as floor grates. One of them has ventilation control panels. The other one does not. Grate#1(with vent control panels) measures: Top side outer dimensions: 13 7/8" x 11 7/8" Bottom side dimensions that would fit into the cutout portion of the floor: 12" x 10" The vent panels currently do not open. But they do move, leading me to believe that with some minor dis-assembly and cleaning, all should work. No missing parts or cracks anywhere. Fair amount of rust. Sandblasting or wire brushing will be necessary. Grate#2(no vent panels) measures: Top side outer dimensions: 15 3/4" x 11 7/8" Bottom side dimensions that would fit into the cutout portion of the floor: 14" x 10" As can be seen in the photo. Interesting lot of old doorknob rosettes escutcheons for your consideration. I am not sure of what there original use was for because of there smaller size. I am guessing they were an early doorknob application from entry doors in homes. They might have been an early furniture backplate as well. Could be used either way I suppose depending on your need. No manufacturing marks. There is a very small amount of original copper Jappanning still evident on a couple of these which I think were there original finish. There are ten in this lot measuring an unusual smaller size at 1 1/2 inches across. Center holes are 3/8 of an inch. large enough for a standard 1/4 inch mortise driverod. These are in very nice condition. All the seating cleats are intact with no break or cracks. These would work nicely on cabinet or furniture resoration as well.
