Vintage LARGE Black Iron Scroll Design HEAVY Birdcage Bird Cage Garden Parrot
Up for your consideration is a LARGE 3 feet long. 2 feet wide and 5 feet tall Scroll Work Design Iron Birdcage. The door is secured by 2 pins that pull up to open and close the door- both are functioning. There is a place in each corner to hold a circular feeding dish. The bottom pan pulls out for easy cleaning(see photo 5) Beautiful scroll design throughout. Handle on each side to aid in moving the cage around. It is rusty in places as seen in the photos. I have not actually weighed this piece but it took both my husband and myself to move it using the handle on each end. We guess the weight at at least 50 pounds. For auction are 2 old tin flue or chimney covers. The one with the lady with the bonnet is 8 ¼ inches across. The picture of the lady and roses are done in red and black and is very nice. The white part of the cover has paint wear and rust spots. The cream color chimney cover is also 8 ¼ inches across and has been painted a few times. There are two nail holes in the front. Vintage Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilt Cutter?
This is a vintage Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt that needs some repairs. Measures 83 x 76 which is a full size or queen. It's pictured on a queen size bed. There are many tears and seam separations, and the border needs repair. Some of the flowers are perfectly fine, and others the fabric is worn so the batting is showing. There are some nice vintage fabrics in this. The back is a reddish/pink print also used as background for the front. I only saw one small stain. On the back very near the border and very small.looks like an ink stain, does not show through the front. This quilt may need to be used for repurposing as a cutter, or it could be restored, or used for display. Please see all the photos. This will ship standard rate with tracking. This is an amazing hand cut. Pieced, stitched quilt. The quilting is all by hand stitching too. It is very old at least 70 years. There has been some patching of worn blocks. There is no odor. A small light stain see pictures please. Also a small hole highlighted in pictures that could be sewn back. The quilt has hundreds of pieces and lots of flower themed fabric scraps. I know some are from flour sacks. The inside batting is the original cotton batting. It is bound with a blue fabric strip and all by hand stitching. This quilt was hours of labor! It has a very nice primitive Americana look and would be a wonderful decorative piece or is usable as is. It would be a wonderful cutter for decorating. Vintage Kitchen Tablecloth. Mansion& Garden Pattern Retro Print in Pink, Gray and White Cotton. Up for auction is this square table cloth. This cloth is made of medium to heavy cotton. And printed with a design of buildings, mansions and gazebos in a garden setting. Tied bokays of flowers are scattered throughout, and surround the center circle. We don’t know the age of this cloth, but the pink and gray design is a typical color scheme of the 1950s. This size tablecloth was familiar in the mid century, when tiny tables for two were popular. The flowers are edged in brown lines. There is a sun faded area on one corner of this cloth. It is more obvious in the pink color. This tablecloth was in the home of a family member. Small Vintage Watering Can Old Red Paint & Old Primitive Garden Tool LOOK !!
Up for auction. A nice vintage small size watering can in old red paint and comes with a very old rusty primitive garden tool with green paint. The watering can measures 9 1/2 inch tall including the handle and the diameter is 7 inch. This can displays nicely and has wear as expected from age, some scratches and missing paint. There is a weak spot, crease in the tin handle on side, the main handle is sturdy. The sprinkler head is in good shape with a nice aged tin patina. I think the watering can makes a nice vase to hold spring flowers. The old garden tool is probably from the 1930s and has a primitive look, it is heavy metal with a wood end.
