I obtained this in times past to eventually use ... moreat my shop- but I need to sell it. The plumbing parts are solid brass. I had this buffed out bright and it looks fantastic. The china bowl and mount has no chips or cracks, and no stains in the bowl itself. Some staining where it bolts to the wall and where the plumbing contacts the china. Brass is marked"Taylor" and has patent number. It is untested with water. It will need usual rubber gaskets and pipe joint compound on threads prior to plumbing it in. Knob feels good when turning, it springs back and forth. Will need a rubber washer where the knob/ valve unit screws in. I am including 2 different rubber faucet washers for the valve with it along with the original one- not sure which one it needs(see photo) I am confident it will perform fine and is a beautiful, classic vintage specimen. Selling"AS-IS" Measures 11 3/4" out from the wall and bowl measures 9 1/2" at widest part. Weighs 8 pounds without packing. Will be carefully packed and shipped USPS insured in the lower 48. This is a more massive nozzle than what you see today in hardware stores. Unlike the more commonly available pistol grip devices which tend to break or otherwise fail. These will last a lifetime because they are made of brass. It is more than 4" long and I think it was made in the USA many years ago. There is no information printed on it except Rainboy. So keep checking! Here is a wonderful vintage glass dome for your display or garden. It's hard to find nice small cloches like this. So I was thrilled to grab it for you. It is in excellent condition- I'm trying to show you the fabulous thick wavy-liny glass in my photos, I'm sorry if it's hard to see. I'm also showing you a rock from my rock garden AND the creapy bisque baby head in flower that I have in another listing, just for kicks- they are not included. Oh- I also have a tall plaster pedestal listed that I discovered this dome fits perfectly on top of- I didn't get a photo of that because I didn't discover it until here in my ... moreoffice. The dome measures 5 3/8" diameter at the base and closer to 5" diameter at the center of the body- the base is larger than the body for about 1" and then it graduates to the 5. It weighs 1 lb. There's clear cellophane tape on the top from a dealer tag- it will come off, and it is finger-printy dirty- that will clean off too- and it needs a good bath- I do not clean or mess with the as found patina in any way. The glass top measures 15 1/2" and is held in place by the ball finials. It pops right out. So the glass can be turned over. There are four tiny chips to the edge of the glass as shown. Vintage Art Deco W.D.Allen RED ARROW Rocket Cast Iron Lawn Garden Sprinkler
I believe this RED ARROW sprinkler with the Art Deco base is a hard-to-find piece. It has a very cool"rocket" looking spray head. It is clearly embossed Allen Red Arrow Chicago. It is in as-found condition with worn paint and rusty areas as you'd expect for its age and use. The cast iron base measures 7 3/4" x 8" It measures 9 7/8" high to the top of the spray head. There is a tight crack in the iron base which can be seen in the last photo. In fact. We never noticed it til reviewing our pictures. Item up for auction is a Lot of 7 Vintage Garden Gnomes. Also called Elves or Dwarfs. They are ceramic and hand painted. The red standing gnome is 12 inches tall, which gives a reference to how big they are. On the bottom of the blue one"74" is inscribed which may indicate year they were created. Gnomes came from an Estate Sale of a retired Air Force couple who were once stationed in Germany. There were other German collectibles. Possibility exists that they are also German but it is not stated. I know Gnomes were everywhere in Germany during that time because I was also living there in the 1970s, courtesy of the US Army. Gnomes are in very good condition. There are no cracks only a rare occasional paint flaw. Like a drip.
