Outside some small minor dents, actually pretty nice yet, very solid tank. Now. what it needs. The little threaded part on bottom where petcock threaded into had fallen off, the solder left go. It ran into the barn a couple years ago. I'm sure the fuel system will need cleaned out to run again. On 02-11-2014 I put some fresh fuel in it and it starts but won't stay running. Needs carb. cleaned. I will do it if I find time. I had anew set of decals made for this tractor. Included id a new I.D. Plate. Choke& Throttle decal and the Oil& Lube decal for the rear-end. I also had the Decal made for the snow blade. Snow blade model no. 10AC5. Great tractor for restoration. I have an 8Hp. Kohler K181 with starter Gen. That is what was originally in the tractor. The engine I have is out of a Wheel Horse. I bought it to put in this tractor to make it original ... moreagain. I will sell the engine to the buyer of the tractor for an additional $100.00. I have owned this super machine for close to 3 years. used it briefly for a month. then purchased a larger unit. It has been setting ever since. had it under a tarp under the deck. all I did was remove the tarp to take the pictures. needs a cleaning. I put a new battery in this tractor when I purchase it well as you can guess after all of this time it does not make a wimper. ... moreit has a 4 speed manual transmission. they tell me these old units are the type many like for tractor pulls. AGING, and OUTDOOR PATINA& RUST from being outside in the weather. From top to bottom, it measures approx. 14" it has a loop at the top for hanging though just a short piece of the original chain is left-you'll have to put another chain or rope on. It is made of a non-magnetic metal(brass? though some places are beginning to get rusted. The trowels and pipes(6 in all) are held on by a strong cord. It is a greenish shabby color-think greening copper- and it is also very heavy so it'll need to be hung on a strong branch! Very cool for your garden + it has a nice sound! Just that they had it for a long time. It looks at least vintage to me. There's a few bubbles in the glass which is usually found in older glass. See picture. The coloring of the glass is subtle.not real bright like the man made purple glass. Measuring just the glass. It is 7" tall and the bottom measures almost 7" wide. I put water in it and it does not leak. There is some residue near the bottom, I assume from water left in it. Someone told me they use denture tablets to clean that. This is a NO RESERVE Auction. So BID early and BID to WIN! Vintage Authentic Garanti Villedieu Copper& Brass French Country Wall Mount Garden Water Fountain. This fountain is stamped on the bottom Bowl with the Garanti Villedieu Margue Deposee(trademark) Lavabos were originally used in French homes before running water was available. The upper reservoir would be filled with water and then dispensed with the valve as needed. And the lower basin would catch the waste water. These fine copper basins also make excellent garden fixtures as fountains. Truly Splendid. Unique and excellent stamping throughout this beautiful piece: On the front. A pair of lions stand on both sides of a crowned Urn, adourned with detailed scrolling, fruits and leaves. Throughout the piece. Stamped embossed detailing around the base of the sink bowl, top and bottom ... moreof the upper reservoir and lid. All of the stamping matches with the piece Two brass spouts. Without the valves. Brass wall hangers on the back of the bowl and reservoir. Both stamped made in France. Two copper handles on either side of the bowl. Wonderful copper finials on top of the lid. Measurements: Upper reservoir- 19" High x 14" Wide x 5" Deep Lower Bowl- 7" High x 14" Wide x 7" Deep As shown assembled on the wall = 31" High(this can vary based how far apart they are installed. And not used to keep time. selling as a collectors item. the second hand looks a bit bent. and could be straightened easy. outside is solid and durable.the glass portion is surrounded by aluminum metal material. dusting needed.
