I purchased this 20 inch tall corner folding cabinet at an estate sale. It appears quite old. And the paintings and brass appearing hardware is remarkably detailed. Tiny hooks hold shelves on, and it can collapse somewhat flat. Clearly vintage but I know nothing about the era or its age. Please therefore ask me any questions you need to. Vintage print of Mary on a carved wooden frame with doors that close over the picture. Very good condition for it's age! Print has signs of aging but is all there. Beautiful carved frame has hinged doors that close over the picture. No pieces of wood missing. Hinges are all tight and in good working order. Measures 9 1/2" high x 8" wide when doors are open(4" wide when doors are closed) 1 1/4" deep. Made in Mexico is stamped on back with#783(that's what I make it out to be) Triangle hanger on back for hanging on wall.

Vintage U. S. Post Office Postal Box Unit - 54 Corbin Doors - Dual Combo Eagle
Here is a very nice vintage Post Office mail box unit. It contains 54 doors. All brass Corbin dual combinations with the flying eagle on them. 36 doors are 3 1/2" by 5" in size, 12 doors are 5 1/2" by 6 1/4" in size and 6 doors are 11" by 6 1/4" in size. Unit even comes with 51 of the original Corbin box combination cards. Compartments slant forward for easy mail retrieval and unit still has some of the small name clips on the back. Names include the N. Y Phone Co. and Callicoon Hospital. so that gives a clue as to where this unit came from. Unit measures about 50" tall, 34 1/2" wide and 14" deep. Piece is in nice condition for its age, the wood case could use some touching up and 2 of the glass windows are cracked, but all of that is easily fixed. Piece is very heavy and being offered as a local ... morepick up only, please arrange your own method of transportation. Would probably make a great steampunk wine rack. The 3 brass and bronze doors open with a three letter combination. This style of door was used in the Post Offices in the 50's. 60's and early 70. This style of door is the last quality door the post office made. They are in good working condition and have been cleaned. The size is about 10 1/2 wide 6" high.

The green plastic inner portion also has a few specs of paint and some discoloration along the edge of the wood frame. Still super to have a true vintage set of swinging doors. VINTAGE SOLID WOOD INTERIOR FRENCH DOORS - lot of 4 - from 1920's
These four French doors are from my colonial house in Spring Glen In Hamden. CT built in 1928. Original doors from when the house was built. They have been stored in my basement for 25 years. Three of the doors are 30" wide by 80" long. They are almost 2" thick. The 4th door was cut at one time or another. The fourth door measures approximately 80" x 30" and is about 1 1/2" thick. I am unsure of the type of wood. From looking at others I think they are maple because that was the wood used in that time period but, again, I am not 100% sure. Local pick-up is in Cheshire, CT. This auction is for a rare Vintage Industrial Metal Cabinet/ Storage Chest with 96 drawers and doors that slide out from each side. the cabinet is all steel(I believe it is somewhat fireproof) with some brass trim. It is in nice used condition. With original green painted exterior. The drawers are like index card size, so it was probably used for employee records? It is about 64" tall. It is heavy and in good used, as found condition. Shows age and wear, slight wear/surface rust spots on case and on areas of the draws. The draws are all there and open up with no problems. Each individual jar has a different spice name painted on it with the image of a woman cooking over a pot. Vintage The Doors Music Rock & Roll Patch in Thick Acrylic Display Holder
I am reluctantly parting with my personal unique patch collection consisting mostly of Music. Rock& Roll Band patches that I have collected throughout the years. Many of these are Vintage and extremely rare. They are all enclosed in 1 inch thick, 4 screw acrylic holders so they would be well protected and could be displayed. The acrylic holder screws were tightened just snug enough as to secure the patches in place so they wouldn't slide around or become compressed or deformed. So even though each individual patch thickness varies, the holder will have an equal gap on all four sides. If desired you can remove the patch and reuse the holder for photo's, cards, ticket stubs, etc. easily by taking the screws out and removing the top portion of the holder. Every patch is in mint condition, meticulously centered in it's holder. ... moreMost are embroidered, some are cloth, some are a combination of both. You would shake your head if you knew how much time was spent collecting and displaying these. Everyone has a favorite band and I'm thinking that these would make great gifts.
