Vintage Yale Door Knobs with plates -steel, copper and brass coated, hardware
This set works. I took it off an old door from my grandmother's house. I didn't strip the paint off of it but have left it in the condition I found it in. The pieces are steel(magnet sticks to them) but appear to have been coated with copper on the door knobs and brass on the plates. As you can see this was on a door that led to the outside as one knob shows more weathering then the other. Feel free to ask me any questions.

If the quantity falls below 2, this indicates that 1 set sold and only 1 is available. Lovely. Original, vintage door locksets made around the first half of the previous century. Each set includes 2 steel knobs, 2 stamped steel escutcheons, 1 steel mortise lock with 1 working key, 1 steel strike plate for the door jamb, and 1 spindle with 2 set screws to connect the knobs. Originally. All parts were copper plated, however only traces of copper remain. The amount of copper varies from part to part(see"Group photos" to compare) Please note that due to the lighting in our shop, the copper plating looks orange in the photos, but it's actually a pinkish-red ... morecolor to the naked eye. At the point of salvage all parts were covered under layers of paint. And were dirty and rusty(see last photo) Since then, we've removed the paint and cleaned all parts to the best of our ability. The knobs and escutcheons have a simple. Straightforward Arts& Crafts style design. You could tell that the hardware came from a well-maintained home because they are in great condition! The metal around one of the keyholes is slightly bent. But it looks worse in the photos than in person. Otherwise, there are the typical nicks and scratches that you would expect to find on old, used hardware, but no breaks, cracks, or gouges. Each lock was opened. Inspected, and we sprayed machine oil on and around all parts to facilitate their movement. A key was made especially for each lock, and we could make more for $6/key-email us after the auction if you are interested. You are bidding on a MIX LOT OF 6(SIX) VINTAGE ANTIQUE GLASS DOOR KNOBS. I'm not sure what the age is on these. The knobs measure approximately 1 3/4” to 2 7/16” wide. The knob in front of the quarter has a base that is magnetic while the others are none magnetic possibly brass or bronze. The two that are paired up have their set screws that turn freely and tighten. There appear to be no cracks on the knobs but there are some small scratches and some scuffs. There is one very small chip on one of the knobs pictured furthest right. I did not try and clean them. I’ll leave the cleaning to the professionals. Nice patina! One key hole cover that came off this piece was put on wrong so the stencil is really nice on this one. Includes two brass plates, one is on the shank in picture, one is off. Lot of 6 Pink Glass Pulls I believe the shape is Hexagon These are perfect for kitchen cabinets. Furniture drawers, bathroom vanities, dressers, and restoration of vintage furniture. Out of the 6. one of the knobs has a flaw. Inside the glass there is a little black spot. Please few pictures for more details. Otherwise. They are in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. These are expensive to purchase. I believe they go for over $3.00 for one. The glass by itself without the screws stand 1 1/4" high. I do not offer refunds. Set of 2 Antique Vintage Glass and Brass Door Knobs Circa 1920
Wonderful set of glass and brass door knobs. They have 12 point faceted glass knobs with a starburst pattern. They sit on a brass stem. They are a nice architectural find and are original to a Victorian style home built in 1920. Condition: Good Used condition with a natural patina. A surface scratch on the center of one knob, some gray paint on the brass stem of one and a tad of green paint on the stem of the other.
