The plates ... morehave a swirl pattern around a star burst in the center. There is a gold circle line around the star burst. Around the plates the glass is done in several different clear textured glass in a geometric pattern. The outside border is done in blue with white glass mix. The overall size of the panel is approximately 17 x 11. I want to note that the plates have a base about 1/2 high so the back side of the panel is not flat. This is to allow the front side to be flat to the edge of the plates where they then curve in for the plate. The panel can be hung in either direction as there rings in each corner. The patina on the solder is black and the frame is silver. All items are handmade by me using the Tiffany style of construction. Shipping: Insurance is included in shipping. This is a new 11 3/8" x 26 3/8" comtemporary and beautiful stained glass window panel. This panel is using all stained glass except the framing which is beveled glass and six soft green glass nuggets as accents. Green stained glass is used around the perimeter as an additional border. Antique stained glass pieces taken from huge panel - 2 sets of 16 1/2"X 23 1/2"
I purchased a large antiques stained glass panel about 7 years ago with the intent of taking it apart and then rebuilding smaller panels using the pieces. It never happened so I am going to sell off most of the pieces(I'll keep a few for me just in case I can find the time to use them) The first picture shows 1 set of pieces that when assembled will measure 16 1/2" x 23 1/2" This auction is for two sets. The last pictures are of what half the panel looked like before I removed the leading. The original window was about 14 feet tall. These pieces will need some cleaning. I have found. Believe it or not, that steel wool works best. It will not scratch the glass. Th anks for looking. And good luck bidding!

16" x 25" Clear Tiffany Style Clear Beveled Glass Contemporary and beautiful stained glass window panel. The center of the glass is clear and beveled on one side. The outside boarder of the panel is etched in a frosted design. The panel was found under a covered porch of an older church in Charleston. North Carolina. The panel has not been cleaned. Rare 17th ( ? ) Century Stained Glass Panel Nobleman and Skeletal Death Figure
Description: This is a stunning rare what looks to be an early 17th(1600"s) century stained glass panel. It depicts an old aging nobleman sitting in a chair who appears to be approaching the end of his life as skeletal Death figure pears behind him and holding out over his head the hourglass symbolizing that time slips away. Another nobleman stands with a cane in hand watching. Many artist in the 16th century(1500's) used this metaphor in their etchings. It may be possible that this is in fact from that period. Measurements: 9.75" Tall p 9.25" Across This appears to be the side that was painted. I was not sure what was the front or the back. It looks more detailed this way. Note: This piece is in very good condition for its age. Please look at all the picture closely to let me know if you have any questions. The only real ... moreflaw that I see other than the fact that t is old glass is one small panel of glass near the edge on the bottom that I took a close up of. It is not cracked but looks like it is scuffed or scooped? It is very minor. The glass has spots on it. And I did not try to clean it. I did not know if it would wash away the paint? As for the age. I do not know for certain. I did my best to research this and it was not easy to find anything like it. The style of painting and subject manor is from a early period. I found etchings with this style and they all are from the 1500's. Please if you have any knowledge I would love to know. I think it is a really wonderful find, and great part of any fine collection.
