1930's Deco Cast Iron 5 Light Slip Shade Light Fixture Chandelier with 3 Shades
This dusty deco. 5 arm fixture has 3 shades with it; that's the way it came off the ceiling. The shades are in very good condition with no damage. It appears they have some light remnants of white paint that should be easy to remove. The original patinated gold cast iron fixture worked when it was taken down. The fixture. With the shades installed, is 20" in diameter. The fixture without the chain and canopy is 13"H. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Antique Conneaut Art Neauveau slip shade Chandelier, all original.
Final listing for this rare bird! I have owned it for many years and have looked constantly for other Quality Conneaut fixtures. I have found very very few. Some have been better with six. Or seven shades, most have been basket cases. This fixture came out of an estate sale and was stored in a loft across the street from the house it was originally installed in. which was sold not long after it was built and the fixtures removed and stored at that time. It's ALL cast brass except for the ceiling cap"center" piece which is SPUN brass. All original except rewired and bulbs(not shipped)I belive it's around 1907 to 1914. Original paint and the shell motif irridescent shades are in great shape except for small flake on one shade, pictured, exceptional for it's age. The model# is 6003, for three lights. The P&S sockets ... moreare ribbed(prior to 1914) and are marked patents pending. The small chip is shown in the picture, and may have been original. All shades are marked Conneaut, Pat. Pending. The dimensions are; 32" long as shown, with a diameter of 18" with shades in. The shades are 8" x 6 5/8"x 2 1/4" The other fixtures we aquired at the same sale were dated 1907 patents. Here is a really neat old 2 slip shade ceiling fixture. It has a real ART DECO look! It is marked: PORCELIER" ON the back. Body of the fixture is a porcelain material. Up for consideration is this vintage Art Deco light fixture ceiling medallion. The stamped yellow brass ceiling canopy was slavaged from an old home and is in excellent condition with no dents or cracks. Not polished. The old patina is still intact and even has old ceiling paint around the edges. This can easily be cleaned off, I'll let the new owner do that. This is a beautiful example of the true height of Art Deco. The metal fixture has a lovely deep gold patina with green and yellow highlights and has matching frosted glass shades. This chandelier measures 11" tall. 12" wide, 6" deep and includes 12" of chain and a matching ceiling canopy that is adjustable for height. Overall, it hangings 27" to 30" down from the ceiling. It has two sockets, each accepting one 60 watt candelabra based bulb. The matching pair of glass shades are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Up for auction an original vintage Markel 5 lamp slip shade opalescent amber/peach glass 1930s? Chandiler. In original complete condition. Recently removed from its original home. The glass is all in good condition, a few have tiny chips on the underside, really close to perfect shape. All sockets work, the canopy shows a bit of patina, will sell untouched, no cleaning chemicals. Merkel Electrical Products(a.k.a. M.E.P) wall sconce: this is a single floral style wall sconce with cast aluminum holder and original glass slip shade. Socket, switch and wiring. Overall impression is one of romance and soft lighting. Perfect for in a bedroom or small dressing area. The holder has not only it's original gold finish but also the airbrushed original touches of green on the leaves and wine-red on the flowers. Some small amounts of paint loss primarily to the side edges. Please see the photographs. There is overall soiling as I did not detail-clean this item. The glass has no cracks or flakes but there are some tiny tiny nibbles to the top edge and factory roughness as well. Some minor flakes off the flange edge which do not show when the slipshade is in place. Color of the glass might be considered somewhat pink-ish. Again ... moreplease refer to my pictures. The number of that auction is 121274251518(in completed) It a peachy pink color or light amber. I can't tell but it looks like the same color as the ones in the other auction. It measures approx. 7 1/2" tall(hard to tell because of shape) Where it slips in is at the bottom 3 3/4" wide and the top is 5 1/8" wide. I see a chip on one corner that slips in(pictured) and a few tiny ... moretiny chips on edge of the upper area. It doesn't affect the shade at all! The 3rd picture shows that there is some discoloration. It almost looks like it had been clear and someone painted over that area but I don't actually feel anything like paint(or anything) at all so I am not sure. It is in an area that wouldn't be noticed that much or at all when in a sconce! I am also selling a set of 4 of the same. Vintage 6 Frosted Batwing Slip Shade Style Chandelier Ceiling Lamp Light Fixture
For your consideration today is this nice estate sale find of a large hanging chandelier ceiling light. It is in the batwing slip shade style however the glass shades are attached by decorative screws. The shades can and will be removed prior to shipping to prevent damage. Please make note of that fact prior to bidding as some minor re-assembly will be required upon delivery. Nothing that anyone with a Phillips head screw driver cannot do. It has 6 frosted and clear glass shades. A frosted glass insert at the top and also at the bottom. It has six light sockets that accept the smaller candelabra end light bulbs as shown. It is in good working condition and has been temporarily wired to show you this but these wires will be removed prior to shipping. As with any vintage wiring it would be a good idea to have it checked out prior to installation ... morein your home. No light bulbs are included in the auction. It has gold colored metal and I think it is the original finish however I could be mistaken. The metal parts do show some age related wear. It is meant to be hard wired to your existing electrical. It comes complete with a ceiling cap but no mounting hardware. It measures 21" across shade tip to shade tip about 12" high from bottom finial to top hanging loop. It has 12" of hanging chain and 27" of electrical wire so more chain can be added depending on your needs. It is heavy and weighs 10 lbs. pre-packaging so shipping will be a bit high. 5 Light Art Deco Slip Shade Antique Ceiling Chandeliers by Williamson (ANT-368)
Here is a 1930's chandelier designed and made by R. Williamson& Co. And marketed in the 1930s by Beardslee, who had bought the Williamson company for their excellent designs. Every lovely decorated metal panel of this great light is impressed with the RW&Co logo. This particular RW mark is so early, we believe it was made before the purchase by Beardslee, since later marks spelled out the entire name, instead of using the company’s initials mark. What a gorgeous fixture. And in such wonderful condition! The fixture has been totally rewired. At present, this light has a drop of 26 inches. It has a diameter of about 17 inches. Canopy diameter is 5 5/8 inches. This light has its original deco polychrome color finish which has been very beautifully maintained. The rewiring was also done with the utmost care. The sockets are new by ... moreLeviton.and are the identical type that Williamson used in the 1930's. The goal is to maintain the originality of the fixture as much as possible. Pair. Deco, Frosted, Slip Shade Wall Sconces. Cast aluminum fixture. I could not find a manufacturers mark. Frosted shades have an applied tint of amber color at the top and bottom portion of each. The switches seem to function well. They measure 12' high. 5 1/2" wide and would extend about 3 1/4" from the wall. There are some of the usual minor chips on the edges of the shades. Nothing significant. There is some paint slopped and spotted on the metal fixtures and shades from careless masking when painting the walls. Selling with no Reserve. Questions are welcome. Lincoln slip shade sconces These sconces have been beautifully restored. These date back to the 1920's or 1930's. The back of these are marked Lincoln 10560. These are beautiful and would look great in your home! All of the electrical is new. The siwtches are new as same as the bakelite lamp sockets and updated wiring. The most important part of using antique light fixtures is to have new electrical componets. This insures safety in your home. They have been tested as shown in the photos and work great. The bulbs I used for testing were mini 13 watt compact fluorescent daylight bulbs. The metal wall fixtures were soda blasted with baking soda as to not distort the metal. I had these repainted with quality paint that should last for many years to come. The glass slip shades were hand polished to a beautiful luster.
