The clock has been made primatively but has a lot of charm! Has a glass front on the door. The base of the cabinet is 16 inches long x 22 1/4 inches high x 6 inches wide. VINTAGE INGRAHAM SHELF/MANTEL WINDING 8 DAY CLOCK This came from an estate sale with a lot of vintage and antique items. This clock is in good condition on the outside except for some surface scratches. Nicks and light staining on the wood. I wound it up some to see if it would keep time. It starts ticking but then it will suddenly stop. It will need some fixing. There is also no glass front so the face is dirty and has some rubs from storage. The back has a small slit in the metal, I don't know if there was supposed to be something there or not. It measures 20 3/4" across the bottom and the face is 5 1/4" around. It was made circa 1920. It is a very nice mantle clock and Runs Great! It has one strike on the half hour and counts the hours on the hour on two chime rods with a mellow chord sound. It measures about 10 inches high 17 inches wide and 6 ¼ inches deep. This is great Seth Thomas clock! It has a signed Seth Thomas 8 day time and strike#89 movement. The case is a simple classic style and has a beautiful finish with very few blemishes(see Pictures) The movement runs very well and keeps good time. The movement was just cleaned. You will see it is not like the Tambour 6 that were common and made in the mid 20’s and 30’s. Hand carved accents and solid mahogany woods make this clock very desirable. When you hear the robust chime on its cathedral gong counting the hours and half-hour. This clock will warm the room with its beauty and sound. This model has a sweeping base that is 1 inch wider than the later model with a molded front edge that starts at the 3 and 9 and ends at the left and right side giving an open scroll look that would go with any décor in any room. This mantel was salvaged from a mansion in northern NJ that was demolished to make way for a commercial building. Old house was completed in 1909 so fireplace dates from about 1907-1908. In nearly perfect condition. This mantel has wonderful character and detailing befitting it's origins. Solid wood and hand finished, this piece belongs in a restored older home with high ceilings. Overall dimensions are 7'4" high; just over 5' wide; Opening is just shy of 3'3"h X 3'6"w. Mirror above mantel is intact and in good condition with slight shading. Mantel itself sits about 4'8" from the base with the mirror and frame above it. Top right side of frame needs about a 3" piece of dentil molding replaced. I got this clock by Rhythm at a Estate Sale where a gentleman was selling items of his decease mother. I ask him about a back plate for it and he told me his mom took it off because the music was louder. I agree with her and he could not find the back plate. The clock is in excellent condition except for a couple of almost unnoticable spots where the varish was rubbed. 25"tall 15"wideand 4 1/4" deep. I tried researching this clock and could not find anything on this one alone. And that is out of looking through 864 known clocks that Waterbury produced in the late 1800's and early 1900's. On the face of this clock it says Beaver Oil Co. Montreal so I'm assuming it was made just for that company. I tried researching Beaver oil co. and couldn't find much there either although there was a can of sewing machine oil here on e-bay with that name on it. the clock works and chimes on the hour and once on the half hour. there is an extra alarm that works. 3 places for the key to wind.probably needs good cleaning inside and the wood but I don't want to mess it up and will leave that to the restorer. any info on history of this would be appreciated!

This dates the clock between 1860 to 1889. Roman numeral dial in nice shape. A clock restorer told me it's all original and complete except for one nut on bottom holding the girl figurine on. It's"as found" so I know it needs cleaning and set up. I don't have a key so I don't know if it runs at present. It has it's original adjustable pendant. Cosmetically it has desirable patina on the gold. No chips on the alabaster, one of the chain rosettes is missing as seen in picture and a small spire is missing from the highest point of the spelter which you wouldn't notice unless it was pointed out. 52770 ANTIQUE VIENNA BEIDERMEIR MARQUETRY INLAY BARLEY TWIST PILLAR MANTEL CLOCK
A very fine antique. Circa 1830's- 1840's, Beidermeir style mantel clock, possibly Viennese made. The case is with a walnut? Veneer having marquetry inlay, and reeded ebonized moldings. The barley twist pillars are grain painted as rosewood. The bezel is fancy ormolu brass scrolls. The white porcelain dial has hand painted numerals. It is in working order: tells the time, coil chimes the hours and halves. The brass clockworks have no maker's mark. Includes a pendulum(new replacement) and the key. The clock measures 17-1/2" tall by 8-1/2" wide by 4-7/8" deep. Very good condition: dial with faint hairline crack, chip to veneer on front crest, block feet possibly not original. Ormolu castings with original finish.
